Bolts from this Corpus bow deliver a one-two punch of an icy pulse, followed by a conventional explosion. Excess ammo picked up for other weapons will be converted into charges for the Lenz.

Warning, safety-protocols do not exist on this prototype.

The Lenz is a Corpus bow and arrow with the unique ability to convert extra ammo of different weapon types into charges for its next shot. It fires special bolts that initially inflict Cold procs in an AoE, then to follow with a powerful blast in an even larger AoE.

The Lenz is available from a blueprint aquired in the Energy Lab in a Clan Dojo that has researched it.

Characteristics

This weapon deals primarily damage.

Advantages:

• Highest critical chance of all weapons, alongside the Amprex, Dread and Synapse.
• High base damage, the highest of all bows.
• Explosive bolts can damage enemies in a moderate-size AoE (Comparable to the Tonkor).
• Tied with Dread for highest critical chance of all bows.
  • Can achieve orange criticals with a rank 4 Point Strike.
• Innate arrow ammo mutation effect.

Disadvantages:

• Deals self damage if the arrow detonates too close rendering Lenz ill-suited for close quarters.
• Slow fire rate.
• Low status chance.
• Initial bolt deals minimal damage compared to other bows.
• Cannot use the Thunderbolt bow mod.

• Lenz is the first non-silent bow weapon.
