Larva Burst is a Warframe Augment Mod for Nidus's Larva that allows the player to detonate Larva by recasting the ability, dealing Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage proportional to the enemies trapped in Larva beforehand in a small area of effect.

Acquisition

Notes

  • Explosion triggers on reactivating (default 2 ) while Larva is active. Reactivation destroys Larva and does not cost energy.
  • Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage is affected by Ability Strength.
    • Explosion and Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. DoT damage are not affected by Mutation stacks, instead stacking based on the number of enemies grabbed by Larva.
      • Damage is calculated based on the number of enemies grabbed during the initial cast, meaning killing enemies caught in Larva will not reduce explosion and Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. DoT damage.
    • Burst damage can proc Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. Status Effect and diminishes with distance from Larva.
    • Explosion damage is calculated using the following formula:
      Modified Damage = 300 × (1 + Strength Mods) × Number of Caught Enemies
  • Explosion radius is affected by Ability Range.
  • Grabbed enemies are briefly launched up in the air on Larva explosion.

Tips

  • The augment can be used as a quick way to spam Larva.
    • Allows a duration build Nidus to be viable as the ability to spam Larva is no longer hindered by duration.
  • Provides a quick way to deal with large amounts of enemies as the damage stacks with the amount of enemies grabbed by larva.
    • Also allows players to conserve energy as recasting doesn't cost energy.
