Acquisition[]
The Lacerten is automatically acquired upon claiming a Hound configured with the Bhaira Model. Note that this weapon also takes up one Sentinel inventory slot.
Notes[]
- The Akaten, Batoten and Lacerten are all statistically identical (speed, critical, status, etc.) other then their physical damage types. All three are 50%/50% split between two physical damages, with the three weapons covering the three possible combinations.
- Because of the weapon's base Impact damage and the Hound's reasonable attack speed, it may be beneficial to add Shattering Impact when embarking on missions against enemies that possess armor, such as Grineer, Corrupted or Infested (in case Swarm Mutalist MOAs appear).
- Lacerten only uses standard melee attacks. It does not allow the Hound to block or perform special attacks, nor does it have its own combo counter.
- As such, Lacerten cannot equip mods that affect heavy attacks (e.g. Killing Blow), slide attacks (e.g. Maiming Strike), combo counter (e.g. Blood Rush), finishers (e.g. Finishing Touch), or blocking (e.g. Focused Defense). It also cannot equip any Set Mods (e.g. Gladiator Might).
