Kunai Incarnon Genesis is an item that is used to add Incarnon upgrades to the Kunai Kunai or Kunai MK1-Kunai.

Evolutions[]

  • Installing the Kunai Incarnon Genesis requires 20 PathosClamp Pathos Clamps, 70 YaoShrub Yao Shrubs, and 80 Eevani Eevani.
  • When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;

Evolution I[]

  • Weakpoint hits charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
  • Projectiles seek Headshots and have increased Multishot.
  • Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
  • Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticule by achieving weakpoint hits and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 4 weakpoints will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
    • Charges do not generate on the backpacks of most MOA variants, or vulnerability spots generated by Sonar130xWhite Sonar or Mod TT 20px Detect Vulnerability in places other than actual weakpoints.
    • Weakpoints on corpses or Invulnerable targets do not build charges.
    • Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
  • Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Kunai's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 5 rounds to a maximum of 20. Once all ammunition is expended, the Kunai reverts to its normal form.
    • Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
    • Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as EnergizedMunitions130xWhite Energized Munitions).
    • Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.

Evolution II[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.
  • Perk 1: Swift Conclusion:
    • Increase Damage by +70 (Kunai) / +80 (MK1).
    • Increase Damage by +200% if enemy has less than half health.
      • Bonus is additive with Mod TT 20px Hornet Strike in basic Kunai form, and multiplicative in Incarnon form. It is also additive with Mod TT 20px Galvanized Shot in both forms.
  • Perk 2: Sage's Resolve:
    • Increase Damage by +80 (Kunai) / +70 (MK1).
    • With Channeled Ability active: +100% Multishot.

Evolution III[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Kill 100 enemies with this weapon's Incarnon Form.
  • Perk 1: Swift Deliverance:
    • +50% Projectile Speed.
  • Perk 2: Extended Volley:
    • Increase Magazine Capacity by +10.
      • No effect on Incarnon mode.
  • Perk 3: Rapid Reinforcement:
    • +50% Reload Speed.
      • The bonus stacks additively with reload speed mods such as Mod TT 20px Quickdraw.

Evolution IV[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Kill 60 enemies within 10m.
  • Perk 1: Deathtrap Trigger
    • On equip from Primary:
      • Increase Critical Chance by +40% (Kunai) / +42% (MK1) for 4s.
      • Increase Critical Damage Multiplier by +1.4x (Kunai) / +1x (MK1) for 4s.
      • Bug: These are displayed as permanent bonuses in the Arsenal but only actually apply while the 4 second Deathtrap Trigger buff is active.
  • Perk 2: Accelerating Volley
    • On Fire: +20% Fire Rate for 0.5s. Stacks up to 5x.
      • The bonus stacks additively with fire rate mods such as Mod TT 20px Gunslinger.
  • Perk 3: Survivor's Edge
    • Increase Critical Chance by +12%.
    • Increase Status Chance by +12%.
      • Status Chance increase is divided among the 2 projectiles in Incarnon mode, resulting in +6% Status Chance per projectile.

Patch History[]

Hotfix 37.0.4 (2024-10-10)

  • Updated the following Incarnon Evolution descriptions to specify “Weakpoint Hits” instead of “Headshots”:
    • “X% Critical Chance on Weakpoint Hits”
    • “Weakpoint Hits charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.”
    • “On Consecutive Weakpoint Hits.”

Hotfix 35.0.7 (2024-01-09)

  • Fixed incorrect icons being used in the HUD for the Kunai Incarnon evolution buffs.

Hotfix 33.0.13 (2023-05-26)

  • Fixed Clients Incarnon Genesis Secondary pouches (Kunai) not changing back to their default appearance after they are out of their Incarnon form.

  • Fixed thrown weapons with Incarnon Genesis equipped (Kunai for example) playing the Incarnon Mode SFX when they are not in that state.
