Horrasques are a quadruped species native to the Orb Vallis.

Notes

The creature can require 3 shots from the tranq rifle to capture. It's aggressive and will pounce you and run away if not hit thrice by tranq rifle. Fleeing and de-spawning can also sometimes occur (given enough time) even if the player is cloaked if the Horrasque has been hit once or twice but not fully tranquilized.

• However, if the player waits until the Horrasque is sitting above ground (as opposed to only the head popped up), two tranq rifle hits can subdue the creature for capture.
