"No, Pedlek, I will not be attending your poetry recital. Hok would rather get a plate in his head and collect magnets. How may I serve?"
—Hok, scolding his assistant Pedlek before greeting the Tenno
Hok is a middle-aged Ostron blacksmith who runs Hok's Anvil in Cetus, located on the right side of the market, directly across from the gate to the Plains of Eidolon. He mainly sells the parts to create Zaws, modular weapons which can be assembled and and gilded at his anvil, and Exodia arcanes which can be used to enhance a Zaw even further. He also offers a daily special product to his customers in the form of a randomized, gilded Zaw for a sum of Platinum, and provides a service to Entitle any max-rank meleeweapon for 15 which re-brands said weapon with a customized name.
When a Zaw is proven to be worthy and tested in battle (by leveling said weapon to rank 30), a Tenno may also donate it to the blacksmith in exchange for OstronStanding, to be used by the town's militias.
He is always accompanied by his assistant, Pedlek, a lazy young man with a relatively thin build, who can be seen slacking around the shop. Hok would often treat his lazing assistant with disdain often to a comedic effect.
With Fortuna's release, we applied some general economy changes based on takeaways from Cetus. Now that we have returned to Cetus and the Plains of Eidolon with a remaster, we are applying some 'Economy Remaster' changes to go with the changes in an effort to apply our continued learnings. Change is the name of the game - thank you for all feedback on our economies and for being receptive to change!
Replaced Arcane Blueprints with Arcanes in Hok's Offerings meaning that Arcanes no longer need to be built.
Owned Exodia Arcane Blueprints have been converted to full-crafted Arcanes.
You can now also name/rename weapons that Polarized, as opposed to the strict Rank 30 requirement.
