The Höllvania Central Mall is a ruined mall of Höllvania set in the year of 1999. The mall can be accessed through a Pom-2 computer located in the Orbiter after the completion of The Hex quest. It is home to The Hex, Protoframe humans that exhibit Warframe traits.
Part forward operating base, part hideout, and part Atomicycle garage, the Höllvania Central Mall is the Hex's main refuge from the Techrot and the
Scaldra. Here they can rest and reequip before heading back out to hunt for Dr. Entrati.
As a hub, players can interact with the various NPCs to purchase items from shops and accept bounties to complete in Höllvania. Players can enter missions from the mall's garage by riding out on their Atomicycle. The Backroom also has an entry located in the mall in an abandoned clothing shop on the second floor.
The Hex[]
- Main article: The Hex (Syndicate)

The Hex is a Syndicate comprised of six humans that have been infused with a Helminth strain by Doctor Entrati, which gives them Warframe-like powers and traits. These partial Warframe hybrids are also known as Protoframes, and each one exhibits traits of a different Warframe from the present time. In the countdown to New Year's Day, The Hex continues their search for Doctor Entrati, while fighting off opposing Scaldra units and the infested Techrot that have overrun the city.
The group is led by Arthur (who has traits of Excalibur). Other members of The Hex include Aoi (
Mag), Amir (
Volt), Quincy (
Cyte-09), Leticia (
Trinity), and Eleanor (
Nyx).
Mall Directory[]
Other than being the home base of The Hex, the mall also has several other points of interest located in it.
Höllvania Bounties[]

Located in the garage, a Bounty Board lists the available Bounties requested by Hex Members. Each Bounty in Höllvania Central Mall has a randomly-assigned Hex member! Play the Bounty to have the selected Protoframe join you in-mission and earn a once-per-day Chemistry gain with that character.
Pom-2 PC[]
Located in the garage, Backroom, and the Orbiter, a Pom-2 PC is the entry point for players to access Höllvania missions and the 1999 Calendar.
Hacked Emails[]
- Main article: Hacked Emails
Amir's hacked emails inside Aoi's room within the Höllvania Central Mall reveal On-lyne being manipulated by their manager Gregory V, who formed a partnership with an unnamed director using the members of On-lyne's DNA to create prototypes of the Technocyte Coda, ultimately scheming to have the boy band replaced.
Caliber Chicks 2[]

In the back of the mall, in the arcade, one of the arcade cabinets can be interacted with to play Caliber Chicks 2, an old-school arcade game. The game stars the sisters Jillian and Lillian Killian, as they fight to stop Anna Ki.
Backroom[]
In a clothing shop on the second floor, a door that looks to be marked with a Void scar can be entered. Entering into the hallway leads players to the Entrati Backroom, a room used by Doctor Entrati that can also serve as a base of operations as an alternative to the Orbiter, with all of its functions present.
Michael “Mynki” Brennan Tribute[]

In an internet cafe on the second floor, there is a computer station that flashes between several images, and the desk is covered in paper with other various drawings. The drawings are original concept art made by the late Michael "Mynki" Brennan, the Art Director for Warframe for many years until his passing just a few months before the release of the 1999 update. The computer station is set up as a memorial tribute to him, with the sticky note attached to the computer reading "always doodle'n" and containing a small heart. Like previous hidden Digital Extremes logos in player hubs, interacting with the computer will show the credits roster for Hollvania's development.
Cyte-09 Prex[]

The Prex for Cyte-09 can be found in this planter on the left while the Backroom is on the right
The Cyte-09 Prex can be found in the mall, opposite of the escalators when exiting the Backroom.
Höllvania[]
Höllvania is a city-state located on Earth during the year 1999.
Ravaged by the Techrot crisis, Höllvania has been transformed. The once bustling city streets reduced to rubble or overrun by Infested biomass. If you hope to survive in 1999, you must traverse this new environment and discover the secrets buried beneath it. Littered with Scaldra checkpoints and barricades to contain the
Techrot, moving freely through the streets requires a mix of ingenuity and agility. Race along the roads with your Atomicycle or stalk across rooftops for the perfect shot.
Tennocon Preview[]
As part of Tennocon 2024, and in the months leading up to the release of Update 38.0 (2024-12-13), players were given access to a special relay version of the mall located on Earth, which could be explored. Members of The Hex were also located here, and approaching them would play a selection of voice lines.
When the relay appeared for the second time in November 2024, several additional secrets were present in the mall:
- Players could obtain the 1999 Drippy Glyph by entering the hole behind the planter near the staircase behind the stage-left doors (right side when facing the stage). Once inside, keep going until you find a vending machine which you can interact to obtain the Glyph.
- Inside the security office behind Arthur, a landline phone can be interacted with, causing the player to hang it up.
- Hanging up the phone was an action that was required for the completion of the 1999 ARG.
Gallery[]
Trivia[]
- The mall contains several cutouts of Gordon Freeman from the video game Half-Life, which was released in November 19, 1998. Posters based on the game's box art can be found around the Mall as well.
- The player model could be pushed out of the way by Amir's dash.
- Televisions in the mall feature an eye symbol that was first seen in the Operator Report.
- Four Morse Code radio messages can be heard playing in the mall:
