Gyrix is a heavy Sentient fighter that is first introduced during Operation: Scarlet Spear. These briefly appear during Railjack portions of The New War.

Upon taking heavy damage, the Gyrix will split into four smaller Gyrix craft. These aircraft fly in close formation, but cannot be locked onto by Railjack weaponry. Three of the craft will sport white outlines, while the fourth will have a red outline. Upon destruction of the smaller red craft, the Gyrix will reappear and can be destroyed for good.

- If attempting to scan to fill out your codex, they have a high chance to spawn 1-2 at the start of the second Railjack mission in the New War quest. Suggest immediately leaving your Railjack to scan, then quit the game to reset the mission. This will take you back to before the Railjack portion starts, but will save you from having to redo the entire New War quest line which can take hours. In my personal testing no more Gyrix spawn after the initial 1-2, so I highly recommend you don't stick around waiting for another to spawn.
