Gorgon Incarnon Genesis is an item that is used to add Incarnon upgrades to the Gorgon Gorgon, GorgonWraith Gorgon Wraith, or PrismaGorgon Prisma Gorgon.

Evolutions[]

  • Installing the Gorgon Incarnon Genesis requires 20 PathosClamp Pathos Clamps, 60 RuneMarrow Rune Marrow, and 60 TasomaExtract Tasoma Extract.
  • When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;

Evolution I[]

  • Weakpoint hit charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
  • Fire embedding projectiles that explode with DmgFireSmall64 Heat Damage
    • Incarnon Form shoots a time-delayed explosive projectile, dealing a spread of DmgImpactSmall64 Impact, DmgPunctureSmall64 Puncture, and DmgSlashSmall64 Slash damage upon impact. After a short delay, it detonates with an explosion radius of 5 meters, dealing DmgFireSmall64 Heat damage with guaranteed DmgFireSmall64 Heat status, but has linear Damage Falloff from 100% to 90% from central impact.
  • Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
  • Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticle by achieving weakpoint hits and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 30 weakpoints will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
    • Charges do not generate on the backpacks of most MOA variants, or vulnerability spots generated by Sonar130xWhite Sonar or Mod TT 20px Detect Vulnerability in places other than actual weakpoints.
    • Weakpoints on corpses or Invulnerable targets do not build charges.
    • Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
  • Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Gorgon's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 0.66 rounds to a maximum of 20. Once all ammunition is expended, the Gorgon reverts to its normal form.
    • Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
    • Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as EnergizedMunitions130xWhite Energized Munitions).
    • Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.
  • Swapping to and from Incarnon Form will fully reload the normal form's magazine.

Evolution II[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.
  • Perk 1: Hunter's Mantra:
    • Increase Damage by +10 (Gorgon) / +5 (Wraith) / +5 (Prisma).
    • With Channeled Ability Active: +3 Punch Through, +40% Accuracy.
  • Perk 2: Hoplite's Virtue:
    • Increase Damage by +10 (Gorgon) / +5 (Wraith) / +5 (Prisma).
    • On Shield Break: Increase Damage by +13 (Gorgon) / +8 (Wraith) / +8 (Prisma) for 8s.
      • This is on personal shield break, not breaking enemy shields.

Evolution III[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Kill 100 enemies with this weapon's Incarnon Form.
  • Perk 1: Resonant Restore:
    • On Reload From Empty: Increase Base Magazine Capacity by +15. Stacks up to 3x.
  • Perk 2: Rapid Reinforcement:
    • +50% Reload Speed
  • Perk 3: Void's Guidance:
    • -50% Weapon Recoil

Evolution IV[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Kill 30 enemies without reloading.
  • Perk 1: Survivor's Edge:
    • Increase Critical Chance by +8% (Gorgon) / +8% (Wraith) / +2% (Prisma)
    • Increase Status Chance by +9% (Gorgon) / +6% (Wraith) / +6% (Prisma)
  • Perk 2: Elemental Balance:
    • Increase Status Chance by +16% (Gorgon) / +14% (Wraith) / +12% (Prisma)
  • Perk 3: Absolute Valor:
    • Increase Critical Chance by +14% (Gorgon) / +14 (Wraith) / +6% (Prisma)

Patch History[]

Hotfix 37.0.4 (2024-10-10)

  • Updated the following Incarnon Evolution descriptions to specify “Weakpoint Hits” instead of “Headshots”:
    • “X% Critical Chance on Weakpoint Hits”
    • “Weakpoint Hits charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.”
    • “On Consecutive Weakpoint Hits.”

Update 35.5 (2024-03-27)

  • Fixed multiple Primary Incarnon HUD buffs (Gorgon) using a generic icon instead of their own.

Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)

  • Fixed Gorgon Incarnon challenge for Evolution IV not resetting when reloading if you’re the Client.

Hotfix 33.6.4 (2023-08-15)

  • Removed the initial charge delay on Incarnon projectiles fired and replaced it with an automatic trigger type.
    • In other words, you can now hold the fire weapon input to continuously fire its projectiles as long as a charge is available. The former 1.2 second charge delay is its new auto fire rate.
  • Adjusted projectile detonation times so that it better matches the fire rate of each variant (base version having the longest and Prisma the quickest).
    • This goes hand in hand with the two above changes, with the initial charge delay removed and replaced with an automatic trigger there was room to establish a better rhythm for detonation while firing in auto. Instead of many projectiles taking a while to detonate, they will now roughly do so around the next auto shot fired.
