Gale Kick is an Exilus mod that makes Jump Kicks deal a percentage of the equipped melee weapon's damage as Impact damage. If the target dies from the kick, nearby enemies will be knocked down.

- Modifiers that do affect Gale Kick:
- Base damage of the melee weapon.
- Base damage mods ( Pressure Point, Steel Charge, Justice Blades, Energy Channel, Scindo Manticore Skin etc.)
- Energy Channel's bonus is permanent as long as the player does not swing their actual melee weapon to discharge the bonus damage.
- Furious Javelin
- Having an Exalted melee weapon active will make Gale Kick scale from it, including damage granted by Ability Strength.
- Modifiers that do not affect Gale Kick:
- Physical or elemental damage mods ( Collision Force, Fever Strike, etc.)
- Faction damage mods ( Smite Corpus etc.)
- Sliding or parkour velocity mods ( Maglev, Endurance Drift etc.)
- Conditional mods ( Healing Return, Condition Overload etc.)
- Shattering Impact
- Void Strike
- Riven Mods that have a base damage boost stat
- Jump kicks normally deal impact damage equal to 20 + 100% melee base damage (including all of the above damage interactions), with Gale Kick increasing the total damage to 20 + 200%
Trivia[]
- Kills done in this way are not tallied as kills (melee or otherwise) in the stats screen at the end of a mission, allowing solo players to complete a Jump Kick-only Exterminate mission with zero kills.
