- For Landing Craft, see Nightwave (Landing Craft).
Nightwave is a pirate radio station hosted by the enigmatic Nora Night. In-game, Nightwave serves as a unique Syndicate system that offers various player rewards such as Mods, Resources, Cosmetic items and more through the completion of various mission challenges.
Apart from the reward system, Nightwave will also feature various stories that further expand upon WARFRAME's lore through their broadcasts.
Mechanics[]
Nightwave can be accessed from either the Orbiter's Navigation console, or on the Main Menu, through a banner on the lower right corner of the screen. Alternatively, players can interact with the Orbiter's Radio Scanner to the right of the ramp to access Nightwave.
The Nightwave system consists of daily and weekly challenges that players can complete to earn Nightwave Standing, which is used to rank up through Nightwave's 30 ranks (15 during Intermission I), with each level requiring 10,000 to level up. Every rank attained grants unique rewards, with rarer rewards being available at higher ranks, which include so-called Creds (not to be confused with Credits), a special Series-specific currency that can be spent in Nightwave's Cred Offerings. Note that any duplicate Nightwave-exclusive rewards will be converted to 50 . Each series introduces a different issue of Creds that can only be spent on merchandise during its own series. Note that unlike other Syndicate Standing, Nightwave Standing is only used to increase Nightwave ranking but cannot be used to buy any Syndicate-specific merchandise (which instead is done for Creds ), with any leftover Standing upon ranking up carried over towards the next ranking up.
After reaching rank 30, players can continue obtaining prestige ranks, with each prestige rank-up awarding 15 . The amount of prestige ranks varies between Series. If the prestige rank cap is reached, any additional Standing earned will be stockpiled until the cap is raised, which will then be distributed to new ranks.
Seasons[]
Nightwave's reward system is presented in limited-duration Seasons. There are two types of seasons: Series and Intermissions.
Nightwave seasons containing its own story are called Series, featuring a set of level-up rewards themed after its accompanying lore. Each Series contains five Episodes narrated by Nora Night which gradually unlock over time. All players start a new Series at rank 0, regardless of the ranks achieved in previous Series. Ranks achieved during previous Series can be seen in the Tune In screen of the Nightwave console.
Storyless Intermissions, Choice, and Mix are introduced during long downtime between Series, with variable maximum ranking and duration, and featuring both unique and from previous series rewards, allowing players who couldn't get them when they first appeared to have another chance of doing so.
Each season has varying lengths that can last up to several months. A countdown timer will appear when the current season has two weeks remaining.
Acts[]
Acts are challenges that players can complete to earn Standing to increase their rank in Nightwave. They fall under three categories of difficulty: Daily, Weekly, and Elite Weekly.
Daily Challenges are introduced daily with each lasting 3 days, while 2 Weekly, 3 Permanent Weekly, and 2 Elite Weekly Challenges are introduced on a weekly basis and last for 7 days. Apart from the duration, the different Challenge tiers also offer different levels of difficulty, with Daily having the easiest tasks, and the Elite Weekly having the most difficult ones. All Daily Challenges reward 1,000, Weeklies reward 4,500 and Elite Weeklies reward 7,000.
Weekly and Elite Weekly challenges refresh every Sunday 00:00 UTC.
Any Weekly and Elite Weekly Acts that have not been completed before the next week's rotation will be put on reserve. Once the player has fewer than 3 current weekly Acts left to complete, any missed Acts from previous weeks will be available and marked as Recovered, three at a time. Once all missed Acts have been completed, they will no longer appear, and any further Acts can be recovered in the future week rotations.
Possible known challenges for an Act are:

Cred Offerings[]
Apart from the ranking rewards, Nightwave also features a Cred Offering store, where players can purchase various items such as Vauban components, Orokin Catalyst, Orokin Reactor, Nitain Extract, Aura and Conclave Mods, weapon blueprints and skins, Warframe Cosmetics, and Orbiter Decorations.
During each series of Nightwave, players can earn an exclusive special Cred currency by ranking up, which are then used to purchase the aforementioned Nightwave offerings. Note that after the end of the particular series, this currency will expire and the next Nightwave series will introduce a new currency to spend. Any unspent Cred after a particular series can be sold from the inventory for 5000 each.
During the downtime between Nightwave series (including Intermissions), the store will be inaccessible until the next series begins.
Note that the shop's items are on 7-day rotation, so not all of them will be offered at any given point.

Mechanics[]
- In addition to Acts, reputation can also be earned by finding and capturing three Saturn Six Fugitives that spawn randomly in missions, granting 50 per Capture. If the player waits too long before capturing them, they will die and no reputation will be given but it will still count as them being eliminated. A secondary objective labeled "Fugitives Eliminated" will appear when they spawn in a mission. Fugitive groups can spawn multiple times in a single mission. These enemies appear in the "unaffiliated" category in the codex, as despite being Grineer biologically, they are fugitives.
- The Wolf of Saturn Six can randomly spawn in most missions similar to Assassins, acting as a field boss. He has a 4% chance to spawn in missions below level 20, and 6% for missions level 20 and above.[2] Defeating him has a chance to reward a component for his signature hammer, the Wolf Sledge.
- Following Episode 4, the Wolf became Sentient-turned, and has a chance to drop the Saturn Six Mask.
- Toward the end of this series, a Tactical Alert was issued which features an Assassination mission for the Wolf.

Mechanics[]
- Devotees can randomly spawn in missions after a Tenno is downed. Functioning as allies, they will appear next to the downed player and revive them. They will remain until they die, providing firing support and continue to revive any downed player and even their Companions.
- Bleedout will always trigger should the Devotee spawn.
- Following Episode 3, enemy units called Zealot Heralds and Zealot Proselytizer can spawn randomly in missions or Landscapes. They appear in pairs, and can revive each other when downed. Once both zealots are downed, they disappear and award 50 standing.
- Following Episode 4, the Zealots are accompanied by a Zealot Baptizer and award 200 standing.
- Following Episode 4, Infestation Outbreaks are accompanied by Emissary Derelicts. Completing three outbreak missions on a planet rewards one Zealot Derelict Code, which is needed to enter the Derelict. These missions house two new Infested enemies, the Undying Flyer and Leaping Thrasher, and completing the mission awards 1,500 standing.
- The code can only be obtained once per planet. There are always two Infestation Outbreaks active per day, meaning the two codes can be obtained per day.
- Following Episode 5, Assassination missions can appear as potential Emissary Derelict missions. The boss of the assassination missions is the Zealoid Prelate, which can drop components for the Pathocyst glaive.

Mechanics[]
- Every 24 ± 2 minutes server time a glowing orb spawned while in missions and "glassed" an enemy near it, similar to Void Fissures. The glass fissure was not static: after glassing one enemy it might have disappeared and then reappeared near another group of enemies, seemingly following the movements of the player so that the glassification always happened near them. This process repeated until 5 enemies had been glassed, after which it disappeared until the next 24 ± 2 minutes.
- Glassing could occur on any ground or Railjack mission that isn't a Void Fissure.
- These glassed enemies were invulnerable until the spiky crystals protruding from it were destroyed. Each glassed enemy killed gave 30 standing and had a chance to drop 1 Cephalite Resonance, up to a maximum of 150 standing per appearance.
- Glassed enemies could (and most often did) explode on death, dealing damage to units in their range (both Tenno and enemies).
- Cephalite drops were not affected by Resource Boosters or Resource Drop Chance Boosters.
- However, they were affected by loot abilities ( Desecrate, Prowl) and Warframe Augment Mods ( Ore Gaze, Pilfering Swarm, Pilfering Strangledome).
- The player could not carry more than 20 Cephalite Resonances.
- With each new episode of the Series being released, a new Crime-simula scene could be accessed from the Nightwave menu.
- In this simulation, players could search and examine evidence pieces.
- The text and symbols on these pieces as well as their locations were randomized per player, so the evidence one had differed from the evidence another player had. Each piece of evidence had three variations. It was helpful to collate a screenshot of all evidence frames for easy reference during the Memory Weave.
- Once the key evidence pieces had been found, players were given the choice to enter a Memory Weave at the cost of 5 Cephalite Resonance.
- In the Weave, the player was presented with a series of choices of three platforms, one of which corresponded to each piece of evidence. Choosing the correct platform/evidence unlocked the next choice until all evidence pieces were exhausted. Choosing the incorrect platform/evidence caused the platform to break and the player to fall out of bounds, ejecting them from the Weave. Falling off the edge or missing any platform teleported the player back onto the main platform.
- The order of the questions given was always random.
- The player had 60 seconds to choose and select all correct answers in sequence.
- Abilities and aim gliding could not be used in the weave.
- Failing the weave required the player to repay the "fee" of 5 Cephalite Resonance to retry again.
- After reaching the final platform, the player was rewarded with a "conclusion" piece of evidence and 7,000 standing for completing the Episode's Crime-simula.
- Reattempting an already cleared Crime-simula did not yield additional awards, and still consumed Cephalite.
- Completion of Episode 5's Crime-simula and memory weave transitioned the player into a boss fight with Nihil.
- After completing the memory weave, a crystal appeared in the Crime-simula that lead directly to the Nihil fight. Reattempting the boss fight did not require Cephalite Resonance.
- Completion of other episode's crime-simulas were not required to enter the Nihil fight.
- Defeating Nihil awarded an inbox message containing the Vitrica Blueprint and Nihil's Oubliette Orbiter Decoration.

Trivia[]
- Nightwave was launched on February 27th, 2019 for all platforms, regardless of what version of WARFRAME they were on.
- Nightwave's design is in reference to the cult film "The Warriors" and its D.J. character, confirmed during Devstream #124.
- The Weekly Act "The Old Ways" references the main play style of Digital Extremes' previous successful video game Dark Sector, in which protagonist Hayden Tenno wielded a pistol and his glaive starting from Chapter 2: Exposure.

- Changed the “Crystal Clear” (Complete 3 waves of Mirror Defense) Nightwave Act name to “Mirror, Mirror”.

- Fixed the Rank Up visual and sound FX playing in the “Tune In” Nightwave screen if you have pending rewards.

- This button appears when players have toggled on to Resource Drones view in their Navigation.
Hotfix 35.0.7 (2024-01-09)
- Removed mention of Syndicate Sigils in the “Loyalty” Nightwave Act’s tip description, as they are no longer required with the Pledge system to gain Standing.
Update 35.0 (2023-12-13)
- Nightwave Changes:
Nightwave will now recover Permanent Weekly Acts that weren’t finished in previous weeks, allowing you to collect any missed Standing starting the next rotation. Read the official PSA for a full recap on the events that lead to this change.
Additionally, Permanent Weekly Acts are now numbered. Players can differentiate between new weeks and weeks you’ve missed.
For example, if you missed two weeks of “Not a Warning Shot” at the start of Nightwave, the third week will have “Not a Warning Shot III,” with “Not a Warning Shot I” and “Not a Warning Shot II” being recoverable. This change will occur next week, the current rotation will maintain the previous naming conventions until then.
- General Nightwave Changes:
- Updated “The Hunt Is On” Nightwave Act’s description for clarity on challenge requirements:
- Was: Find X Syndicate Medallions as a squad.
- Now: Find X Syndicate Medallions. You can search by yourself or with a squad.
- GENERAL FIXES
- Fixed Nightwave Screen displaying the incorrect background if a player accesses it via the new Episode pop-up menu.
Hotfix 34.0.8 (2023-11-09)
- Updated the “Animator” Nightwave Act’s descriptions:
- General: “Look for Ayatan Treasures for Maroo in Maroo’s Bazaar.”
- The previous description did not specify that the player needs to hunt for the treasure as well as turn it in at Maroo.
- How To: "Visit Maroo in Maroo's Bazaar on Mars. Ask her about Ayatan Treasures and she will send you on a mission to retrieve one. You can socket Ayatan Stars into Sculptures by clicking the Ayatan Treasures button in the Mods workbench. Stars are uncommon items found in containers, while Sculptures are hidden items to search out during missions."
- The previous description was still using the pre-Abyss of Dagath “Fully socket 3 Ayatan Sculptures” version.
- General: “Look for Ayatan Treasures for Maroo in Maroo’s Bazaar.”
- Fixed the “Survival” Nightwave Act’s “How To” description stating 30 minutes need to be completed in a Survival mission instead of the intended 20.
Hotfix 34.0.1 (2023-10-18)
- Fixed being able to chat link unreleased Weapon Augment Mods planned for the next Nora’s Mix Volume.
Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Nightwave Changes
Nora Night has been gracing our airwaves since 2019, and word is she felt it was time for a little refresh. While many of our changes are shipping in our next Nightwave Series (as outlined in our Dev Workshop), Abyss of Dagath has brought some changes to keep Nora’s Acts fun, accessible, and as always, incentivizin’.
Permanent Weekly Acts
Dreamers, we all like our little habits and rituals. To reward the little things you do every week, we’re adding 3 Permanent Weekly Acts intended to be unlocked with regular Warframe gameplay:
- Eximus Eliminator: Kill 30 Eximus.
- Mission Complete: Complete any 15 missions.
- Marksmen: Kill 500 Enemies.
With these new Permanent Acts, you can earn an extra 13,500 Nightwave Standing each week!
Note: since these are in addition to your weekly Act rotation, they are exempt from the Catch-Up pool.
Nightwave Act Audit
In the 4 years of Nightwave history, many Acts have come and gone. For the next series, we have done a complete Act Audit with the goal of reworking, removing, and adding new challenges to this system. Nothing like some spring cleaning!
We’ll go over a list of what is changing, but please keep in mind that this is not comprehensive or final. Everything, like life, is subject to change. As a reminder, these will not ship until the next Nightwave Series launches (unless otherwise specified).
Removed Acts
Throughout the Audit, we looked to revise as many Acts as possible to keep them fun and to keep the overall time commitment requirement low -- however, we felt that certain challenges were best retired.
Here’s a list of what will be removed in our next Nightwave Series:
- A Firm Shake: Shake the hand of a fellow Tenno using the Handshake Emote
- Augmentation: Install an Augment Mod on your Warframe
- Death from Above: Kill 10 enemies with ground slams
- Enhance!: Pick up 8 Rare Mods
- Grove Guardian: Kill 1 Silver Grove Specter
- Hush: Kill a Kuva Thrall or Hound
- Mad Lab: Plunder one of Alad V's secret laboratories on Jupiter
- Medic: Revive a fellow Tenno or a Companion
- No Mercy: Mercy Kill an Enemy
- Reanimator: Find and pilot a Fallen Necramech
- Reclaimed: Clear a personal Kuva Lich Influenced Node
- Stay on Top: Kill 20 enemies using a Necramech while hovering.
Reworked Acts
These changes keep the core intent of the Act in place but make it easier for players to complete them! Since these are all being changed from Daily to Weekly, they must wait until the next Series before we can implement them:
- Ancient Obelisk: Activate 3 Requiem Obelisk on Deimos (was: 1)
- Changed from Daily to Weekly
- Hacker: Hack 10 Consoles (was: 8)
- Changed from Daily to Weekly
- Kleptomaniac: Open 30 Lockers (was: 20)

Revised Nightwave Acts
In the 4 years of Nightwave history, many Acts have come and gone. This update brings revisions to existing Nightwave Acts that have been reworked with two approaches: a) to reduce the grind required to complete some Acts, and b) to expand the ways in which players can complete them!
Any existing progress on these Acts will remain intact! In the case where an Act has had its requirements reduced and you have already hit that new requirement, you may need to do a single instance of the task to trigger completion (e.g. if you had 10/20 enemies killed while sliding for the Accelerator Act prior to this update, you would have to kill one more enemy while sliding for it to be marked as complete).
- Accelerator: Kill 10 Enemies while Sliding (was: 20)
- Conservationist: Complete 3 different Perfect Animal Captures in Orb Vallis (was: 6)
- Earth Bounty Hunter: Complete 3 different Bounties in the Plains of Eidolon (was: 5)

Similar to Vol. 1, Nora’s Mix Vol. 2 will continue our design goals for Nightwave. We still want to add new weekly goals for Tenno to complete, while being able to focus on our 2022 development goals! You can read more about our Nightwave philosophy in our post earlier this year!
Like previous editions of Nightwave, we have included duplicate protection for rewards that you have already unlocked. Identical to Nora’s Mix Vol. 1, Tenno can expect to be compensated with Nora’s Mix Vol. 2 Creds instead of the previous unlocked reward.
- New Acts!
We are including 3 new Weekly Acts and 1 new Elite Weekly Act for those returning home. If you know... you know.
New weekly Acts include...
Eternal Guardian
Complete 3 Void Armageddon missions.
High Ground
Complete 3 Void Flood Missions.
Zariman Bounty Hunter
Complete 4 different Bounties in the Zariman.
- And for the skillful, an Elite Weekly Act...
Fallen Angel
Defeat 5 Void Angels in the Zariman.
*This can be achieved either solo or while in a squad. If your squad defeats the Void Angel, every member will have the Act completed, regardless of if they dealt the final blow.
For any Tenno that have not yet completed Angels of the Zariman, these challenges are hidden to prevent any potential spoilers! We have also removed the Elite Weekly Act ‘Silent Eliminator’ which required you to complete a level 30 Exterminate without triggering alarms.
- New Rewards!
A mix of new rewards are coming alongside a hand-picked selection of rewards from previous Nightwave series!
Nightwave Ship Decoration
A mini-decoration of the Nightwave Landing Craft.
Noggle Statue - Nora Night
A small statue of a person larger than life.
Nora Night Glyph Pack
Complete your profile with a pair of Nora Night Glyphs - “Style baby!”
Weapon Augments (stats below are shown at max rank)

- Vile Discharge (Embolist): Damage is accumulated up to 30,000. Use Alt-fire to launch an explosive vile sac dealing and resetting the accumulated damage.

Nora Night’s latest Cred Offerings include the Arcane Scorpion Helmet Blueprint, a long retired item since Hotfix 13.2.3. This item was actually meant to be a brand new Operator cosmetic, Operator Wolf Hood, but the backend data got a little switched around. The Arcane Scorpion Helmet Blueprint will run it’s store life span, at which time the new Operator Wolf Hood will take its intended place in future rotations.
- Nihil Boss Fight Rerun
Are you prepared to face Nihil once again, Tenno?
Nora Night’s Cred Offerings will provide both the Nihil Key and Oubliette required to face off against Nihil. Once you have acquired both, interact with the Oubliette Decoration to fight.
The Nihil Key grants you one fight against Nihil, at which you’ll need to acquire another Key to go again. Nora Night will offer the Nihil Key in her Cred Offerings periodically.
For those who did not originally fight Nihil during Glassmaker, using this Key route will grant you the Vitrica heavy blade. Tenno who have already acquired the Vitrica can enjoy an End of Mission Riven Mod reward!
Look for the Nihil Key in next week's Cred Offerings!

- DUPLICATE PROTECTION!
Intermission rewards are sometimes a repeat of the previous Nightwave series, and while newer players might delight in getting some of these new items, we wanted to add a way for it to still be rewarding for returning Dreamers! We accomplish this by giving a 50 Nightwave Intermission Credit reward instead of a previously owned item. This does not apply to items such as Warframe Slots, or consumable items (such as Forma), but rather for owned, unique items such as previous Nightwave Cosmetics.
- General Changes:
- Added Lavos Cordatus, Mag Gauss, Protea Mavv, Protea Telema, and Xaku Kintsu Helmet Blueprints to the Nightwave Store rotation.
It’s no secret that Nightwave: The Glassmaker lasted much longer than we had hoped. As mentioned on Devstream #151, the next Nightwave installment will be dramatically simpler to shift narrative focus to The New War and beyond.

Update 29.3 (2020-10-27)

The time has come, Tenno. After meticulously investigating crime scenes, poring over clues and shattering glass across the Origin System, you’ve tracked the Glassmaker to a pivotal location. A place where the Glassmaker killed thousands, if not millions in an age long past.
More questions await as the latest victim you discover is Orokin, possibly someone who stood against Nihil in the past? Find clues to reveal where the Glassmaker is hiding and shatter his schemes once and for all, Tenno.
- Changes
- Increased the Nightwave Prestige Rank cap by 30 Ranks! This will retroactively place you to the accurate Rank you’ve earned thus far! We know some Tenno have already reached the current Prestige Rank cap. Increasing it allows those Tenno to gain Crystal Cred for the remainder of Nightwave Series 3.

- Fixed a functionality loss that could occur when falling off the final platform in the Weave.

- Fixed a script error when making a choice in the Weave.
Update 28.0 (2020-06-11)
- Upon falling/jumping off a platform in the Weave, you’ll now be teleported back to the main platform instead of failing the Weave.
- The non-existent aim-gliding in the Weave was the root of many Weave failures, which is why we have added the teleport. It’s still the Glassmakers game though, so use your time wisely!
- The amount of Cephalite Resonance to enter the Weave has been cut in half. The requirement is now 5 instead of 10.

- Fixed a script error that could occur if an enemy was Glassed while on a mounted turret.

Hotfix 27.1.1 (2020-02-11)
- NIGHTWAVE INTERMISSION II TIER EXPANSION
The next Nightwave Series, Glassmaker, is in development! While Glassmaker work continues, Intermission II is reaching (or perhaps has already reached for some) its maximum Prestige Rank 60. In order for those who have prestiged to Rank 60 to have Intermission II Creds to spend in the Cred Offerings store, more Prestige Ranks must be given. Thus we have increased the maximum prestige Ranks to 90!
Update 27.1 (2020-02-04)
- Fixed Nightwave multi-rank up past 30 displaying incorrect tier numbers and prestige status on the rank up popups.
Hotfix 27.0.11 (2020-01-16)
- Fixed Kuva Thrall Mercies not counting towards the Executioner Nightwave Challenge.
Hotfix 25.8.2 (2019-10-18) The following Acts for future Nightwaves have been changed based on player feedback:
- The ‘Polarized’ Act has changed from 3 Forma to 1 Forma.
- The ‘Grove Guardian’ Act has changed from killing 3 Silver Grove Specters to 1.
Hotfix 25.7.7 (2019-09-26)
- Change Nightwave Silent Eliminator Act description to clarify that the minimum enemy level must be 30+, not the maximum
- Previous:
- Complete an Extermination mission with level 30 or higher enemies without triggering alarms
- New:
- Complete an Extermination mission with only level 30 or higher enemies without triggering alarms
- Previous:
Hotfix 25.7.6 (2019-09-18)
- Fixed Nightwave button appearing dark when accessing menus in Operator mode in the Orbiter.
- Fixed "Complete X to unlock this Act" showing X as broken code for French.
Hotfix 25.7.4 (2019-09-05)
- Removed Nightwave tips that were showing incorrectly for certain item previews.
- Fixed Mirage’s Hall of Mirror clone kills not counting towards ‘kills’ for relevant Challenges/Acts.
Update 25.7 (2019-08-29)
- In order to avoid spoilers, Nightwave Acts that require completing content tied to Quests will now be locked unless you have completed the related Quest. Locked Acts will point you to the Quest required to complete in order to unlock it. The following Acts will see this change:
- “Don’t Fear The Reaper”, complete Kuva Siphon Missions, will now require The War Within Quest be completed.
- “Ascendant”, complete Halls of Ascension on Lua, will now require The Second Dream Quest be completed.
- “Grove Guardian”, kill Silver Grove Specters, will now require The Silver Grove Quest be completed.
- Catch-up Acts will now appear once you have less than 3 current-weekly Acts left to complete, as opposed to only appearing once you’ve completed the whole current week.
- Changed Nightwave Act progress / requirement number format (1500 to 1,500).
- Fixed overlapping Nightwave UI after viewing an item diorama.
- Fixed flickering issues with the orange screens in Episode 3 of Nightwave: The Emissary.
- Fixed broken Nightwave UI when skipping through multiple Episode cinematics.
- Fixed the Trinity Aura Helmet Blueprint appearing twice in the Nightwave Cred Offerings.

- Fixed the “Watch All” option in The Wolf of Saturn Six only playing the first three dioramas.
Hotfix 25.6.3 (2019-08-14)
- Changed Zealots to be allied to the level's Faction to prevent them clearing objectives.
- Fixed Zealots not being allied with Infested.
- Fixed Zealots not storming players on spawn.
- Fixed text overlap in some languages when viewing restored Nightwave Acts.
Hotfix 25.6.1 (2019-08-08)
- Changed the Thumper Nightwave Challenge range being only 50 meters, made it a more generous 200 meters to prevent issues as seen here.
Update 25.5 (2019-07-31)
- Fixed previous Acts being visually marked as ‘Complete’ if the same Act was complete in Series 1. These Acts were also counting towards the 3 Recovered Acts, which prevented other eligible Recovered Acts if you had 3 of these affected Recovered Acts.
Hotfix 25.4.2 (2019-07-25)
- Changed the Nightwave ‘Silent Exterminator’ Act to clarify its requirement. It now reads:
- Complete an Extermination mission with level 30 or higher enemies without triggering alarms.
- Fixed script error in Sanctuary Researcher Nightwave Act script.
Hotfix 25.4.1 (2019-07-24)
- Fixes towards Nightwave Act progress sometimes resetting / tracking incorrectly when completing a mission.
Update 25.4 (2019-07-18)
- Eligibility for the Get Clem & Maroo Ayatan Treasure Hunt missions now resets at 00:00 Monday each week (same as Nightwave) instead of an arbitrary 7-day cooldown from whenever you last completed them. This ensures you have a chance to complete the missions within the weekly refresh of Nightwave.
- Anyone who ran within the last 7 days will have their cooldown reset 7 days from when they ran it, and future resets will be Monday 00:00.
- In Tuesday’s Hotfix we released a fix for a Nightwave bug that prevented proper tracking of Acts. This is Part 2 of that fix. Today’s fix retroactively provides missing Nightwave Standing to players affected by the issue we fixed Tuesday.
Hotfix 25.3.3 (2019-07-16)
- A bug existed in the progress tracking and completion status of 'Recovered' Acts. If a repeat Act appeared, this would cause it to be already-completed immediately when they appear in the UI and prevent players from earning their associated standing reward. We have more fixes coming on this - stay tuned!
Hotfix 25.3.2.1 (2019-07-12)
- Fixed UI lockup that could occur when viewing Nightwave Rewards and then an Act.
Hotfix 25.3.2 (2019-07-12)
- Right clicking on Nightwave rewards will now display its preview diorama.
- Fixed inability to mark Mods dropped from containers in the Void for the "Mark a Resource or Mod" Nightwave Act.

- Nightwave Series 2 Changes
Based on your feedback, Nightwave Series 2 introduces a suite of changes to reduce the time and tension of earning rewards. Some of these went live with Nightwave: Intermission, but let’s refresh our minds:
- Playing Catch-Up! - We added a way for you to replay missed Acts from previous weeks, in case you have missed them!
- De-grindification! - Less Weekly and Elite Weekly acts, but still giving the same amount of Standing as you would get from Series 1! In addition, we are looking to front-load Emissary Creds as an earlier reward for participating in the Series!
- Act Changes! - We have lowered the Time and Wave requirements for some Endless Mission Acts, as well as lowering the cost of Ayatan Statues (this was implemented during Series 1). In addition, we have also removed the ‘with friends’ requirements from all of our Nightwave Acts!
- New Acts! - Including the most important one... petting your Kubrow or Kavat! We also included some Acts for Kuva missions, Transmuting Mods, K-Drive Races and more!
If you haven't yet, check out our full Dev Workshop on Series 2 Changes: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1092003-dev-workshop-nightwave-changes-for-series-2/
- Fixes
- Fixed Perfect animal Captures not always giving credit for Nightwave Acts when it should.
- Fixed Nightwave Act progression in the Orbiter causing UI to additionally count all the previously completed Acts in the ship and adding it to the displayed Standing.
Update 25.2 (2019-06-19)
- Fixed ‘Everything Old is New Again’ and ‘Loyalty’ Nightwave Acts not awarding Standing.
- Fixed the ‘Silent Eliminator’ Nightwave Act not failing when an enemy detects you, regardless of alarms. Step your stealth game up!
Hotfix 25.1.2 (2019-06-12)
Nightwave: Intermission is now live on all platforms until July 5th at 11:59 PM ET.
What is Nightwave: Intermission?
Nightwave: Intermission is a 15 Rank evergreen reward Intermission! As we work towards content for Series 2, we wanted to release an interim gap to ensure rewards were accessible! Nora Cred can be acquired and used to purchase Nightwave Offerings during this mini-series.
Nightwave: Intermission Rank Rewards:
- 100 Nora Creds
- 2000 Endo
- Robotic Slots
- 3 Orokin Cells
- Gamma Color Picker
- 50 Nora Creds
- 10K Kuva
- Rift Sigil
- 3 Forma Bundle
- Orokin Reactor
- 50 Nora Creds
- 10K Kuva
- Orokin Catalyst
- Aura Forma
- EIDOLON EPHEMERA (not exclusive to this rewards table)
Nightwave: Intermission also brings a chunk of our planned Nightwave changes based on great feedback that were posted in the Dev Workshop, with the exception of ‘New Acts’, as we’re saving those for Series 2! The changes going live include:
- Playing Catch-Up: Stored, Missed Acts!
- When both Weekly and Elite Weekly Acts are completed for a week, a ‘missed’ Act, 3 at a time, from a previous week will be available to play and complete. Once you have completed all ‘missed’ Acts, they will no longer appear, only to be refreshed in the next week’s rotation.
- Degrindification!
- Reduced to 5 Weekly Acts and 2 Elite Weekly Acts. While there will be less Acts overall, the rewards for these Acts will increase, so you will earn the same amount of Standing as you would in the previous Episode upon completion.
- Changes to Existing Acts!
- 'With Clanmates / Friends' Act requirements have been removed completely
- Increased Nightwave Standing from Weekly Acts from 3k to 4.5k and Elite Weekly Acts from 5k to 7k.
- Reduced required Defense Wave Acts from 40 to 20 Waves.
- "Kill Profit Taker with Friends" Act is now just "Kill Profit Taker".
- Changed 'Complete 5 Sorties' Elite Weekly to 'Complete 3 Sorties'.
- Complete any '60 minute Survival' Act reduced to 30 minutes.
- Ayatan Socket requirement for Acts lowered from 5 to 3.
- ‘10 perfect Conservations’ reduced to ‘6 different perfect Conservations’.
- ‘10 Bounties’ reduced to ‘5 different Bounties’.
- Increased the Sanctuary Onslaught Acts from 3 rounds to 8 rounds.
- Removed the ‘Sortie with Friends’ Act.
- The ‘Hold Your Breath’ Act has been changed to ‘Survive over 30 minutes in a Kuva Survival’.
- Changed Nightwave Standing for Weekly Acts from 4.5k to 6k and Elite Weekly Acts from 7k to 9k.
- This Standing increase is just for Intermission, in order to allow all 15 Ranks to be achievable in the given limited time duration. Nightwave: Season 2 will have the original change.
A note as to why:
As we count the days until TennoCon 2019, it’s evident that our ambitious goals for this year are needing all hands on deck, literally. Meaning that our plan to launch Nightwave Season 2 before TennoCon is going to be tight - and we don't want the downtime to be too long.
Thanks for your patience - Dreamers.
- FAQ
Zahnny said:
Ah, so up until Tennocon. Nice. Do we get 15 creds when we perstiege like last time?
Very good question!
There is no Prestige past Rank 15 in Intermission. Intermission is short, sweet, and simply an interim gap.
Series 2 will have Rank Prestige back.
