Animation Sets are cosmetic animations for Warframes, MOAs, and Operators that alter how the character idles and acts.

Warframe Animation Sets[]

Each Warframe has two of their own animation sets unlocked by default, Agile and Noble. As of Update 15.0 (2014-10-24), Animations sets of Warframes can be purchased for Platinum64 50 (with the exception of EquinoxIcon272 Equinox's sets, which are Platinum64 35) to be used on other Warframes. Animation sets that involve unique walking, running, and rolling animations, will NOT be included when using the animation set on different Warframes. Other effects, such as particle effects, sound effects, and objects unique to a specific Warframe, will vary depending on the animation set.

Default Animation Set[]

By default, all newly obtained Warframes will use the default animation set.

Warframe-Specific Animation Sets[]

Operator animation set are unlocked by unlocking the associated Focus school with 50,000 focus points. These animation sets only modify how the Operator idles when not equipped with an Amp.

Trivia[]

  • Noble Animations tend to have a Warframe behave calmer, collected, experienced, professional, and wiser – I.e, Limbo's skill in his levitation, Vauban cracking his neck, and other frames tending to glance around their surroundings for extended periods of time.
  • Agile Animations tend to have the Warframe act more energetic, attentive, clumsy, and cocky at times – I.e, when Chroma aggressively throws his knife onto the floor and picks it up, Mesa beckoning a pretend foe to a duel by gesturing to them and shaking her gun, and Valkyr's fits of rage and threats.
  • Equinox has by far the most amount of idle animations, due to her Day and Night forms.
    • Equinox's Day animations tend to have her situated to the left, and upwards directions, while the Night animations tend to be situated to the right and downward directions.
    • Excluding alternate forms, Xaku's Noble has the most idle animations.
