The Holdfasts are a Syndicate comprised of the four last "survivors" of the adult crew of the Zariman Ten Zero and conducting their operations within the Chrysalith. Returned to life by the mysterious powers of the Void, they have fought off conversion into Void Angels. While not strictly human anymore, instead being Void manifestations resurrected through the Conceptual Embodiment of the memories of the original Zariman Crew, they retain their human mindset and guide the Tenno in preventing the further degradation of the Zariman.
Standing Gain[]
To earn standing for The Holdfasts, players must find and collect Voidplumes, which can then be traded to Archimedean Yonta for standing.
- All Zariman Ten Zero missions can spawn a total of 8 Voidplume Downs, Voidplume Vanes, and Voidplume Crests scattered across the mission in the form of Syndicate Medallions.
- One Voidplume is guaranteed to be a Crest.
- Two Voidplumes are guaranteed to be Vanes.
- The remaining five Voidplumes have a 75% chance to spawn as Downs, and a 25% chance to spawn as Vanes.
- Zariman Bounties from Quinn award 1-5 Voidplume Quills depending on the difficulty.
- Tier 1 Bounty has a chance to award a Voidplume Down.
- Tier 2 Bounty has a chance to award a Voidplume Vane.
- Tier 3 Bounty has a chance to award a Voidplume Crest.
- Finding a Zarium Accolade and delivering it to a Cephalon Melica Cache in any Zariman mission awards 1 Voidplume Quill. Missions generally have two caches to find and unlock.
- Ravenous Void Angels that appear in Void Armageddon are guaranteed to drop a Voidplume Quill upon death as an interactable pickup.
- Void Angels found in a dormant state in any Zariman mission are guaranteed to drop a Voidplume Pinion upon death as an interactable pickup.
- Archimedean Yonta offers a selection of Voidplumes for various Zariman Resources. This cycles every 8 hours.

As an alternative to obtaining them through The Circuit, the following Incarnon Genesis adapters, along with their respective resources, can be purchased from Cavalero for 120 Platinum. Each adapter can only be purchased once.
Other Notable People[]
Kira[]
- Main article: Kira
Kira was formerly part of the Holdfasts of the Zariman, until she succumbed to the Song and transformed into a Void Angel seen by the Operator/Drifter before they woke up in their Dormizone during the early part of the Angels of the Zariman quest line. After her defeat in the last quest, the Holdfasts made an altar to her memory at the western part of the Chrysalith's main lobby.
Kira featured prominently in the Zariman Augmented Reality Game as she asked help from the players to recover logs of her husband describing the events of her death, which also detailed several events prior to the Operator's/Drifter's return during the Angels of the Zariman quest.
Cephalon Melica[]
- Main article: Cephalon Melica
Melica is a Cephalon that was tasked with instructing the children aboard the Zariman. One of her consoles is found at the pathway just after the Chrysalith's main entrance and before Quinn's position, although she cannot be directly interacted with. She requests "students" to find Zarium Accolades for her in the Zariman.
The Husband[]
- Main article: The Husband
The Husband is an unnamed character only known as Kira's husband through the Zariman logs recovered by her during Zariman ARG. He was one of the survivors of the early events following the Void-Jump Incident before succumbing to the Void.
Gyra[]
- Main article: Gyre/Main#Lore
Gyra was a passenger notable for her graceful movements and was sent aboard by Orokin Executor Ballas to act as a figurehead, but eventually became a victim herself of the Void-Jump accident. She is the likely basis for the Warframe Gyre.
Notes[]
- Each rank-up plays a cutscene where The Holdfasts talk amongst themselves, revealing their past lives on the Zariman Ten Zero before they perished. The Void markings on their faces also gradually recede.
- At the highest ranking of Angel, all of their Void corruption markings disappear, signaling a rebirth of sorts as the survivors will find a renewed purpose for existing.
Trivia[]
- The Holdfasts are the first Syndicate to provide non open-world bounties.
- The Holdfasts Ranks are based on terms associated with angels in the Bible.
- Fallen is the term associated with the Angels that followed Lucifer in leaving Heaven, who are considered fallen angels. Though the term isn't actually mentioned within the bible, the concept of angels "falling" when they leave heaven is said in Luke 10:18.
- Watcher is a term used for Angels, first mentioned in the book of Daniel 4:13. Though the word "iyr"(Aramaic) used is sometimes translated as Angel.
- Guardian is a term used for Angels that protect people. Psalm 91:11 specifically refers to angels being sent to Guard/Protect people.
- Seraph, also known as Seraphim, are a type of angel described directly in the bible. Isaiah 6:2 describes them as having 6 wings, using 2 to cover their face, 2 to cover their feet, and the final 2 wings are used to fly.
- Angel, a term used to describe heavenly/supernatural beings that serve God in various religions.
- The name Holdfasts comes from the term hold and fast, referring to their perseverance to resist from drinking from the Reliquary Drive, as doing so is equal to giving in to the Void and will turn them into a Void Angel.
- Voidplumes are named after various wing and feather component. (Void"Plume" refers to a bird's plumage)
- Down is the small fluffy portion of feathers, closest to a bird's skin, to act as a layer of insulation.
- Vanes are the two flat parts of the feather on either side of the central shaft, made of many smaller barbs interlocked.
- Crests are a common type of plumage on birds, specifically feathers that grow on the top of the birds head.
- Quill is the name for the hollow, central support shaft of a feather, to which Vanes are attached.
- Pinion is the outermost joint of the wing from which the primary flight feathers grow. The wing and tail feathers essential for flight are also known as Pinion feathers.
Bugs[]
- Sometimes an Operator's direct kill on a non-Thrax or non-Ethereal Void Angel does not count towards Quinn's requirement kill count while in Operator mode. It seems more prominent in Void Flood runs.

Hotfix 31.6.2 (2022-06-15)
- Reduced the Standing cost of the Zariman Test Tube Station from 40k to 4k.

For those you have purchased the Zariman Test Tube Station at its original 40k Standing price up until now, an inbox message will be sent to you with 18x Voidplume Crest for each Test Tube Station purchased. We will update you on when that script will be run.
Update 31.6 (2022-06-09)
- NEW CAVALERO OFFERINGS
The following weapons, Arcanes, and special items have been added to Cavalero’s Offerings in the Chrysalith!
- NEW INCARNON WEAPONS
Cavalero has dug up two new Incarnon weapons previously used for ceremonial purposes.
FELARX (Shotgun)
The Felarx invokes ancient times when aristocrats hunted game. For ceremonies, Orokin elites bred creatures reminiscent of game birds of old to reanimate cultural myths. The Orokin gave the Zariman crew Felarx and a brace of birds as a sign of acceptance into elite society. The brace of birds becomes a pair of powerful pistols at the hands of the Void.
INNODEM (Dagger)
In the early Orokin Empire, elites wore Innodem as a symbolic reminder to defend the defenseless. The tradition fell out of style, but nostalgic elites acknowledged the sentiment in the form of a gift. The Void amplifies that ideal. Void energy strengthens Innodem gliding aerial attacks and the wielder is increasingly resilient as they perform finisher attacks in Incarnon Form.
- NEW ARCANES
*All values below are shown at Rank 5. As always, values that were shown on Devstream #162 were subject to change and that is reflected below as further considerations and testing was done.
Eternal Onslaught (Amps)
On Energy Depleted: +180% Critical Chance for 8s.
Eternal Logistics (Amps)
On Void Sling: +72% Amp Ammo Efficiency for 8s.
Molt Augmented (Warframe)
On Kill: +0.24% Ability Strength. Stacks up to 250x.
Molt Reconstruct (Warframe)
Heal yourself and allies within Affinity Range 6 Health for each point of Energy spent on the initial casting cost of abilities.
Cascadia Flare (Secondary)
On Heat Status Effect: +12% Damage for 10s. Stacks up to 480%.
- NEW AMP ARCANE ADAPTER
The Amp Arcane Adapter fuses with an Amp to unlock an additional Arcane Slot. These can be purchased with Holdfast Standing from Cavalero. To install the Amp Arcane Adapter and unlock an additional Slot, go to your Operator Equipment > Select the Amp you wish to unlock an additional Slot > Select the ‘Locked’ slot and hit “ok” to install the Amp Arcane Adapter.
With the addition of several new Amp Arcanes with Angels of the Zariman and Echoes of the Zariman, this new Slot allows you to make the most of your growing Arcane collection!
This new Arcane slot is only visible in the Operator Equipment screen once the Angels of the Zariman quest has been completed since Cavalero must be visited in the Chrysalith to get the Amp Arcane Adapter.
- NEW EPHEMERAS
Cavalero has also updated his wares with new Ephemeras that are very inspired by Void Angel and Void Energy designs. Purchase the Blueprints for Standing and craft them to imbue yourself with the ethereal nature of the Void.
Raptwing Ephemera
Take on the majesty of an angel’s wings. Give yourself an extra set of helping hands with this Angel-inspired Ephemera. The Ephemera’s arms will move to mirror your original set of arms.
Seraphayre Ephemera
Walk in the echo of an ethereal song. Cloak your Warframe in Void Energy with this new Ephemera.
