Notes[]

Incarnon Genesis[]

Evolution[]

  • Installing the Braton Incarnon Genesis requires 20 PathosClamp Pathos Clamps, 60 RuneMarrow Rune Marrow, and 60 TasomaExtract Tasoma Extract.
  • When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;

Evolution I[]

  • Headshots charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
  • Gain Radial Heat damage.
  • Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
  • Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticle by achieving headshots and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 20 headshots will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
    • Charges generate only on headshots, and not other weakspots, such as the backpacks of most MOA variants. Similarly, shooting weakspots generated by either Sonar130xWhite Sonar or Mod TT 20px Detect Vulnerability in places other than heads will have no effect either.
    • Headshots on corpses do not build charges.
    • Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
  • Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Braton's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 10 rounds to a maximum of 200. Once all ammunition is expended, the Braton reverts to its normal form.
    • Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
    • Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as EnergizedMunitions130xWhite Energized Munitions).
    • Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.
  • Swapping to and from Incarnon Form will fully reload the normal form's magazine.

Evolution II[]

  • Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.
  • Perk 1: Daring Reverie
    • Increase Damage by +24 (Braton) / +28 (MK1) / +4 (Prime) / +12 (Vandal).

  • Perk 2: Munitions Grit
    • Increase Damage by +14 (Braton) / +20 (MK1) / +2 (Prime) / +8 (Vandal).
    • Multishot consumes ammo directly from Capacity and increases Damage by +60% (Braton) / +48% (MK1) / +54% (Prime) / +58% (Vandal). +20% Multishot.
      • Affects both modes. In the case of Incarnon Form, it pulls directly from its magazine.
      • The multishot bonus stacks additively with multishot mods such as Mod TT 20px Split Chamber.

Tips[]

  • When used extensively or playing solo, the ammunition of an unmodded Braton Vandal can burn down quickly, though not as quickly as the Braton. Consider switching to your pistol or utilizing melee combat when appropriate.
  • When fighting at long ranges, consider firing in short bursts or taking a calculated risk and charging forward. The ammo saved from avoiding sustained long range fighting can compensate for the damage you'll take in melee/short range combat.
  • Use the Mod TT 20px Rifle Ammo Mutation mod to help regain ammo when needed, or bring Squad Ammo Restores. Alternatively, using Carrier's Ammo Case is another viable method of keeping your ammo at a reasonable amount.

Trivia[]

  • Braton Vandal was available for purchase for a limited time during the Open Beta Celebration Weekend (Closed Beta Hotfix 6.3.1 (2013-02-15)), starting from Friday, February 15, 2013 at 12:00 pm EST, through Tuesday, February 19, 2013 until 9:00 am EST. It could be bought for Credits64 1 and had no rank restriction, so anyone who logged in during the Open Beta Celebration Weekend could acquire it, regardless of time spent playing the game. After the Open Beta Celebration Weekend, Braton Vandal was unobtainable until Update 22.18 (2018-04-20), when it was added as a reward in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught.
  • Prior to Update 7.11 (2013-05-17), the Stalker used a Braton Vandal as his primary weapon.
  • When introduced, the Braton Vandal was a straight upgrade of the Braton, with increased statistical damage and fire-rate over the standard edition. Later on, however, the regular Braton had its stats buffed, possibly due to the debates over the fact that the vandal version was considered by most to be the strongest assault rifle at the time. It was buffed again, later on, to actually equal the damage of the Vandal version, making the Vandal's higher accuracy the only advantage over the Regular.
    • Damage 2.0 completely rebalanced the Braton weapons, giving the Vandal version higher damage but in turn, having less impact and slash damage compared to the regular Braton.
  • The Braton Vandal features a different sound to that of the Standard Braton Braton.
  • As with the old Braton model, the old version of the Braton Vandal's model had an engraving at the end of the black shoulder stock that read, "LUKSOR FORGE" in Corpus. In addition to this, there was binary written on the side closer to the stock, under the Luksor writing, and at the point directly after the writing. When putting them altogether from back to bottom to the front, they spell out the letters "GG"
    • In Update 19.10 (2017-02-09), the Braton Vandal has had its old Corpus engraving replaced with Orokin engraving, which reads "Evolution" on both sides directly after the black portion of the stock stops.
