The Feral Diploid is an 
Infested enemy encountered in the Cambion Drift, Deimos. It is formed when a Mitosid "dies" and its upper half separates.
Behavior[]
Feral Diploids are fast enemies with a ranged attack. They will try to keep a distance to players.
A notable ability of them is their capability to recombine into a Mitosid with either a Basal Diploid or another Feral Diploid.
Notes[]
A Diploid's head is the area where it connects with another Diploid to form a Mitosid. All other areas except the head recieve 50% less damage.

Trivia[]
- Diploids are, in a way, capable of changing from one type to another; as Mitosid will always separate into one of each type, but can be formed from two of the same.
