Exodia Epidemic is an Arcane Enhancement for Zaws that unleashes a wave of Infested energy that suspends enemies caught in the blast radius, generated from the melee ground slam performed immediately after a bullet jump or double jump.

Acquisition

Can be bought from Nakak during Operation: Plague Star for 5000 Standing 5000 + 1,500 Credits 1,500 each upon reaching the rank of Defender with Operational Supply.

Notes

• Perform a bullet jump (Ctrl  + Spacebar ) or double jump (Spacebar  x2) then immediately transition into a ground slam (look downward and press E ) to create a wave of energy.
• The wave is 5 meters wide, and will travel forward for 33 meters, going over terrain elevations and passing through enemies, before exploding at the end and dealing damage in a ~7 meters radius. Enemies hit by the wave will tumble backward and be suspended in the air similarly to  Rhino Stomp for a short time period, up to 4 seconds with a full set.
  • This wave has a very high chance for procs to occur, if not 100%, but also has a chance to proc your weapon's elemental effects as well.

Trivia

• Installing this arcane (or Exodia Contagion) on a Zaw will give the Zaw's Links an infested visual appearance.
• Unlike other Exodia Arcanes, Exodia Epidemic depicts a symbol, instead of inscription.
• Prior to Update 24.6 (2019-04-04), Exodia Epidemic was purchasable as a blueprint with the following requirements to build:

Update 24.6 (2019-04-04)

• Replaced Arcane Blueprints with Arcanes in Operational Supply Offerings meaning that Arcanes no longer need to be built.
  • Players that had previous Arcane Blueprints in Inventory were crafted on patch login for free.

• Fixed Exodia Epidemic ground slam wave counting towards finisher damage instead of the intended explosion damage.

• Fixes towards Exodia Epidemic causing enemies to get knocked down twice and remain permanently inactive.

Hotfix 22.3.5 (2017-11-20)

• Fixed Zaws with Covert Lethality and Exodia Epidemic unintentionally insta killing enemies. Covert Lethality does not carry over to projectiles or other effects created by weapons, and only applies on Melee finishers.
