A single blade for more precision. The Ether Sword cuts so cleanly that it was considered by the Tenno to be a more humane weapon for 'cleansing' infested allies.

The Ether Sword is a longsword type weapon and is part of the Ether weapon family, capable of inflicting procs on its slam attacks.

This weapon can be sold for 5,000 Credits 5,000.

Characteristics

This weapon deals primarily damage.

Advantages:

• High damage – effective against health.
• Second highest status chance of all swords, behind  Dark Sword.
  • Can reach 100% status chance with three of the following:  Volcanic Edge,  Vicious Frost,  Voltaic Strike, or  Virulent Scourge.
• Slam Radial Damage deals damage.
• Slam Attacks have a guaranteed proc in addition to the proc.
• Stance slot has polarity, matches  Iron Phoenix and  Rising Steel.

Disadvantages:

• Low and damage – less effective against shields and armor.
• Low critical chance and critical multiplier.

Notes

• While both the normal Slam Radial Damage as well as the Heavy Slam Radial Damage deal 100% damage, only the normal Slam guarantees a proc.
  • The Heavy Slam Radial Damage still has the weapon's innate 34% chance for a proc, which can not be increased by mods.
