  +
*Fixed there being no cooldown for the following Gear in the Simulacrum:
  +
**Grand Finale
  +
**Starburst
  +
**Ki’Teer Firework
  +
*Fixed Gear cooldown notification with timer duration not appearing when selecting Gear as Operator.
  +
*Fixed several issues related to players spawnings Specters, allies, and ammo using the Gear wheel in mission.
  +
  +
{{ver|31.2}}
  +
*Fixed a Gear duplication bug that could occur on consumables after receiving some in an open landscape mission.
  +
*Fixed spamming the Gear Wheel causing Lotus transmission audio to repeat and change.
  +
  +
{{ver|29.10}}
  +
*Fixed sorting gear by Usage reverting to Alphabetical if you do more than one round of an endless Void Fissure mission.
  +
  +
{{ver|29.5}}
  +
*Fixed Gear not unequipping after a Host migration - you'll now respawn with a gun or melee.
  +
  +
{{ver|28.3}}
  +
*Fixed Consumables without a description showing the description of the previous item in the Gear Wheel.
  +
  +
{{ver|27.4}}
  +
*The Omni tool will now slot into the first available slot in the Gear Wheel when given to players instead of being appended to the end.
  +
*Fixed a large game hitch that could last up to 10 seconds when replacing a Dragon Key in the Gear wheel with a K-Drive Launcher.
  +
  +
{{ver|27.2}}
  +
*Added “drag and drop” functionality to the Gear Wheel! Additionally, right-clicking in the Arsenal while modifying Gear Wheel will no longer swap to the Emote Wheel. Instead, right clicking now empties the selected slot.
  +
**When right clicking to remove from slot, the first 13 slots will not reposition due to the first 12 allowing Hotkey bindings. Anything above slot 13 will reposition if items are removed. For example, if you have something in slot 13 and 14 and remove the item in 13, the item will now be in slot 13.
  +
*Deactivating Gear items by clicking on the item in the Gear Menu a second time will now re-equip the weapon you previously had equipped, rather than always equipping your Primary.
  +
*Fixed mounting a K-Drive with a Scanner equipped not restoring it after dismounting.
  +
*Fixed any equippable Gear item not restoring properly after performing a Hack or Finisher on an enemy.

Latest revision as of 19:11, 17 December 2023

Equipment consists of a variety of items that players can utilize to increase their performance in battle and access secret locations that otherwise cannot be reached through the Solar System.

Most of them can be purchased in the Equipment section of the Market, or acquired through completing specific missions or through the Daily Tributes system. Some of them can be reused multiple times, while others such as gears are single-use consumables.

  • Credits Credits are the in-game non-tradable currency. They are used in a wide variety of ways not restricted to buying common blueprints or fully-crafted MK-1 weapons from the market.
  • Blueprint2 Blueprints are used to craft battle equipment as well as consumables.
  • PlatinumLarge Platinum are the in-game tradable currency which can be traded with other players for exotic components, blueprints or Mods. Platinum can be purchased from the Market.

Patch History

Update 35.0 (2023-12-13)

  • The Gear Wheel now displays your respective Hot Key binding on the actual item instead of the description when opening the Gear Wheel.

Update 32.2 (2022-11-30)

  • Fixed there being no cooldown for the following Gear in the Simulacrum:
    • Grand Finale
    • Starburst
    • Ki’Teer Firework
  • Fixed Gear cooldown notification with timer duration not appearing when selecting Gear as Operator.
  • Fixed several issues related to players spawnings Specters, allies, and ammo using the Gear wheel in mission.

Update 31.2 (2022-03-16)

  • Fixed a Gear duplication bug that could occur on consumables after receiving some in an open landscape mission.
  • Fixed spamming the Gear Wheel causing Lotus transmission audio to repeat and change.

Update 29.10 (2021-03-19)

  • Fixed sorting gear by Usage reverting to Alphabetical if you do more than one round of an endless Void Fissure mission.

Update 29.5 (2020-11-19)

  • Fixed Gear not unequipping after a Host migration - you'll now respawn with a gun or melee.

Update 28.3 (2020-08-12)

  • Fixed Consumables without a description showing the description of the previous item in the Gear Wheel.

Update 27.4 (2020-05-01)

  • The Omni tool will now slot into the first available slot in the Gear Wheel when given to players instead of being appended to the end.
  • Fixed a large game hitch that could last up to 10 seconds when replacing a Dragon Key in the Gear wheel with a K-Drive Launcher.

Update 27.2 (2020-03-05)

  • Added “drag and drop” functionality to the Gear Wheel! Additionally, right-clicking in the Arsenal while modifying Gear Wheel will no longer swap to the Emote Wheel. Instead, right clicking now empties the selected slot.
    • When right clicking to remove from slot, the first 13 slots will not reposition due to the first 12 allowing Hotkey bindings. Anything above slot 13 will reposition if items are removed. For example, if you have something in slot 13 and 14 and remove the item in 13, the item will now be in slot 13.
  • Deactivating Gear items by clicking on the item in the Gear Menu a second time will now re-equip the weapon you previously had equipped, rather than always equipping your Primary.
  • Fixed mounting a K-Drive with a Scanner equipped not restoring it after dismounting.
  • Fixed any equippable Gear item not restoring properly after performing a Hack or Finisher on an enemy.

Hotfix 25.3.2 (2019-07-12)

  • Improvements to the Gear Spiral controller sensitivity.

Update 24.0 (2018-11-08)

  • Added some polish to the Gear Wheel changes. We now have a UI marker to indicate where the start of the Gear Spiral is so you have an orientation point AND we always start the opening of the Gear Wheel in the same rotation. This is based on your feedback about losing muscle memory and losing your orientation upon repeat gear use.

Update 23.10 (2018-10-12)

  • New infinite Gear spiral! Is it truly infinite? No. BUT 99 Gear items is a lot and we challenge you to reach the limit.

Update 22.0 (2017-10-12)

  • The Gear wheel can now have up to 12 items!

Update 11.0 (2013-11-20)

  • Added hotkey support for Gear items
