Energizing Shot is an Exilus mod for non-area of effect secondary weapons that allows picking up Energy Orbs when shooting at them, also increasing the amount gained by doing so.

- This mod cannot be equipped on Exalted Weapons, nor the following explosive area-of-effect secondaries (with the hidden
AOEcompatibility tag): - Mutually exclusive with
Concealed Explosives (cannot be equipped together). - Technically being an AoE weapon, the
Sonicor can equip this mod. Both its wide projectile and explosion will pick up Energy orbs. - This mod will make projectiles stop when hitting energy orbs, potentially wasting ammo. This can vary with hitscan weapons.
- Weapons with Multishot can pick up energy orbs with just a single pellet/projectile.
- Energy orbs picked up this way will trigger on-Energy-pickup effects, like
Arcane Energize,
Energy Conversion,
Equilibrium and
Zenurik's
Energy Pulse bonus regeneration.
- Zenurik's Energy Pulse scales off of the increased energy gained, while
Equilibrium (including
Equinox's passive) does not.
- Bonus does affect
Equilibrium's conversion on Energy Orbs from dispensers in Arena gamemodes.

Tips[]
- This mod is useful when paired with channeled abilities like
Oberon's
Renewal or
Nyx's
Absorb (with
Assimilate on) when energy sources are scarce and you want to get the most out of Energy orbs. - Somewhat useful when paired with abilities that produce energy orbs, like
Hildryn's
Aegis Storm. - Most useful when paired with weapons that have qualities of one or more of the following: High firerate, Area of Effect, moderate inaccuracy or spread. As such, it will allow collection of higher energy at range without the need to focus on specifically shooting the energy orbs themselves. For example, the
Quatz has the ability to burst down enemies quickly with its aimed burst fire, collect the energy orb in the same breath with its unaimed automatic fire mode, or collect a number of energy orbs in range with its empty reload electric pulse which can allow a level of regeneration rivaling
Arcane Energize or
Exodia Brave.
