Trivia[]

  • Before Update 26.0 (2019-10-31), the Dual Heat Swords used to emit a visible ring of fire from slam attacks. This visual effect was also shared with the HeatSword Heat Sword and HeatDagger Heat Dagger. Since then, all melee weapons make the same effect when doing slam attacks.
  • The Dual Heat Swords received a visual change in Update 16.5 (2015-05-12), giving it a faded color scheme with texture animations similar to those found in Prisma weapons.
  • A Red Veil member at the back of the room in the Relay can be seen torturing what seems to be a Grineer Butcher with this weapon, probably for interrogation. They hold theHeatDagger Heat Dagger in one hand while theHeatSword Heat Sword is holstered on the lower back.
  • Dual Heat Swords is the only melee weapon without a stance polarity.

Update 26.0 (2019-10-31)
Actual patch notes made a mistake on old damage number according to archived versions of Module:Weapons/data.

  • Mastery Rank increased from 0 to 3.
  • Damage increased from 45 to 147.
  • Range increased from 1 to 2.5.
  • Status Chance increased from 10% to 20%.
  • Slam Attack increased from to 90 to 294.
  • Slide Attack increased from to 270 to 294.
  • Parry Angle set to 60.
  • (Undocumented) Follow Through decreased from 0.6 to 0.5.
