* Like all resistance mods, this works by subtracting its resistance value from Radiation's damage type modifier against both the shield type and the health type of the warframe who equipped it, but not armor. As a result, this increases the user's effective shields against Radiation by '''+150%''' and effective health against Radiation ~'''+81.8%'''.

Notes

  • Currently, there are few non-player sources of Radiation. The most common source is laser traps in the Orokin Void.
    • Sortie missions may contain enemies modded with Radiation as well if specified.
  • Damage resistance works on both health and shields.
    • Increases effective health/shields against DmgRadiationSmall64 Radiation by 100% ÷ (100% - 45%) = 1.8182x
  • Damage resistance bonus is multiplicative with other sources of damage resistance such as Mod TT 20px Adaptation and Mod TT 20px Aviator.

Trivia

  • Prior to Damage 2.0, this mod increased resistance to Laser damage. Though Laser damage was removed from the game when Damage 2.0 rolled out, the mod card still claimed to increase laser resistance for quite some time.
    • This was later changed to Radiation damage in an unknown update.
  • Hotfix 18.13.3 (2016-06-02) once again changed the function of this mod. The element resistance was changed from DmgRadiationSmall64 Radiation to DmgBlastSmall64 Blast, however this was not mentioned. It was later changed to DmgRadiationSmall64 Radiation again also without being mentioned, meaning the change to DmgBlastSmall64 Blast was most likely unintentional.
  • Before Update 9.5 (2013-08-09), it was uncommonly dropped in the Void and rarely dropped on other maps. As of Update 9.5, this mod can be found in normal maps.
