The Deimos Genetrix is a large slow-floating 
Infested creature that functions like a dropship, holding smaller Infested enemies in its body and spewing them out of its mouth to deliver them to the surface of the Cambion Drift, Deimos.

Behavior[edit | edit source]
The Genetrix has no offensive capabilities, but unlike other dropships it has no "limit" of passengers nor a departure point and will continue to spit out Infested until dealt with. It grows these smaller Infested in batches and holds them inside itself for a few seconds before releasing them; shooting it in the lower central section of its main body with a weapon with high Punch Through can hit and even kill the enemies it is holding, and any loot they drop will be immediately released.

- Periodically, the Genetrix extends an appendage from its mouth to reveal a yellow glowing eye. This glowing eye is considered a weakspot and receives significantly more damage than its body.
