The Dax Malleus is a large hulking Duviri Dax that wields the Sampotes and can project the energy shield of Argo & Vel.
Behavior[]
A hulking Dax that wields the Sampotes hammer. With their standard attack, Malleus dashes forward, just like Gladius, albeit a greater distance, knocking any unlucky foes caught in their path off their feet and dealing damage. Malleus can also perform an unblockable attack, slamming the ground with their club for devastating effect. In The Undercroft and The Circuit they possess Overguard.
Their ground slam attack can also be modified if empowered by a nearby Dax Herald depending on the current Spiral to either become a chain of fire explosions in a straight line that leave behind pools of flame (Anger), call down a lightning strike in the AoE for a guaranteed Electric proc (Fear), cause an ice explosion for guaranteed Cold Status (Sorrow), leave behind a lingering AoE pool of poison that causes damage if walked into (Envy), or apply lift status to the Drifter (Joy: This can potentially throw you/ glitch you out of the map, crashed my game after using the /unstuck command)

- As with all Duviri Daxes, Dax Malleus takes guaranteed Critical Hit on headshot. This critical hit is independent from the weapon's own critical chance, allowing it to occasionally dip into orange crit.
