Impact Damage is one of three base damage stats (the other being Puncture and Slash) which replaces Bullet and Physics Impact damage of the weapons.
The given status of the Impact damage is Knockback, causing the targets to receive stuns similar to a regular stun utilized initially by the weapons. This is considered to be a second stun, if the regular is incapable of delivering the effect. This status effect is immediately removed from the target's HUD after the effect is applied.
With the changes in Damage 2.0 there are some weapons without Impact damage, such as Lanka and Ignis. Weapons with no base Impact damage are unaffected by any Impact mods.
