- Despite being revealed first at TennoCon 2024, Cyte-09 releases after Koumei, the 58th unique Warframe.
- Sketches for Cyte-09 were conceptualized by artist Keith Thompson many years before his formal reveal in TennoCon 2024, under the codename "Frumentarius". He would have had chemical themes, implying that Cyte-09's original concept art might have been intended for
Lavos at first.[1] - Cyte-09 is the first Warframe to include a hyphen and numbers in their name.
