Corrupt Charge is a mod that increases the initial Combo Counter of melee weapons while reducing the reset timer.

Notes[]

  • Combo counter starts with 8/15/23/30 as base value, which at max is enough to start with a 2x combo multiplier.
  • Decreases combo counter reset time by 12.5% / 25% / 37.5% / 50%.
  • Using a Heavy Attack on a melee weapon with this equipped will deplete the Combo Counter like usual, but it will then rapidly regenerate to full within 2 seconds.
  • The Combo Duration penalty is calculated from the melee weapon's base value. Meaning it always subtracts exactly 2.5 seconds and therefore is easily counteracted by
     Mod TT 20px.png Body Count and/or Mod TT 20px.png Drifting Contact.
  • It is possible to make a weapon's constant heavy attack speed faster than the regeneration rate, such as with a combination of Mod TT 20px.png Killing Blow, Mod TT 20px.png Amalgam Organ Shatter and one of Mod TT 20px.png Fury or Mod TT 20px.png Berserker Fury, or simply have a naturally very fast weapon. If you pass this threshold the damage bonus from the initial 2x combo on heavy strikes will be permanently nullified, even if you intentionally wait for the mod to be recharged. This is only countered if you manualy build up the combo counter to a higher tier first.
