The Volnus is  Gara's signature melee weapon. It is a glass themed two-handed hammer with high attack speed but low damage.

Characteristics

This weapon deals primarily damage.

Advantages:

• High and good damage – effective against health.
• Highest attack speed of all hammers.

Disadvantages:

• Lowest damage of all hammers.
  • Low damage – less effective against shields.
• Stance polarity has , does not match the Conclave-only  Crashing Havoc stance.

Notes

• Currently Volnus is the only hammer that primarily deals damage.

Trivia

• Volnus is derived from the Latin word vulnus, which means "wound" and is the origin of the word vulnerable.
  • This may be a reference to the weapon's high proportion of damage.
• Upon performing a slam attack, glass shards will fly out from the point of impact. This is purely a visual effect.
