Skana, sporting higher attack speed but lower damage. The Skana Prime is a Founders-exclusive weapon.

Skana Prime was only available to owners of the Master or Grand Master Founders package that was offered between December 19th, 2012 and November 1st, 2013.

This weapon deals primarily 
Slash damage.
Advantages

Slash damage – effective against health and shields (although Puncture and Impact is much better against the respective damage classes). - Innate and polarities.
Disadvantages
- Low Impact and Puncture damage – less effective against shields and health.
- Stance slot has polarity, does not match the Conclave-only Rising Steel stance.

Trivia[]
- The Skana Prime was initially referred to as the "Fin Sword" in the Codex.
- Up until Update 12.0 (2014-02-05), only a small portion of the energy lights can be colored. It is now fully customizable.
- In Hotfix 15.5.1 (2014-11-27) this weapon was given access to the Bright Purity augment, after player feedback regarding the exclusivity of the mod was raised.
