The MK1-Braton is the standard issue rifle for all Tenno. A versatile weapon that can be customized to support a wide variety of play styles.

The MK1-Braton is the MK1 variant of the Braton.png Braton and is the standard issue rifle for new Tenno recruits. The damage is sub-optimal, but the strongest point lies in the accuracy and stability, allowing easy handling of the weapon.

Can be sold for Credits64.png2,500.

During the Vor's Prize tutorial prologue, the MK1-Braton is one of two primary weapons offered to the player, the other being the Paris.png MK1-Paris.

The weapon can also be purchased from the Market for Credits64.png25,000.

This weapon deals primarily Slash b.svg Slash damage.

Advantages:

  • High Slash b.svg Slash damage - effective against health and shields (although Puncture b.svg Puncture and Impact b.svg Impact is much better against the respective damage classes).
  • High accuracy.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Update 14.0 buffed the MK1-Braton's damage and rate of fire to make it closer to the Braton in terms of performance.
  • Originally, the MK1-Braton was unable to equip skins. This was eventually fixed in Hotfix 16.3.3.1
