The MK1-Braton is the MK1 variant of the Braton and is the standard issue rifle for new Tenno recruits. The damage is sub-optimal, but the strongest point lies in the accuracy and stability, allowing easy handling of the weapon.

During the Vor's Prize tutorial prologue, the MK1-Braton is one of two primary weapons offered to the player, the other being the MK1-Paris.
The weapon can also be purchased from the Market for 25,000.

This weapon deals primarily Slash damage.

- Update 14.0 (2014-07-18) buffed the MK1-Braton's damage and rate of fire to make it closer to the Braton in terms of performance.
