A single blade for more precision. The Ether Sword cuts so cleanly that it was considered by the Tenno to be a more humane weapon for 'cleansing' infested allies.

The Ether Sword is a Longsword type weapon and is a member of the Ether weapons family, the others being the Dual Ether, the Ether Daggers, and the Ether Reaper .

Can be sold for 5,000 Credits 5,000.

Characteristics 

This weapon deals primarily damage.

Advantages:

• High damage.
• Fast attack speed.
• 100% proc on slam attack AoE.
• Stance slot has polarity, matches  Iron Phoenix and  Rising Steel stances.

Disadvantages:

• Does not knock down on slam attack.
• Low and damage.
• Low critical chance.

Notes

• The Ether Sword will proc on slam attacks and Iron Phoenix's Taking Flight combo regardless of any elemental mods added on to the weapon.

Tips

• The ability to have a radial proc on demand with this weapon actually makes it one of the best weapons against Infested, as the proc makes the Ancient's auras (by far the most dangerous aspect of the Infested) no longer apply to surrounding light Infested.

Trivia

• The Ether Sword was released on May 24, 2013 with Update 8.0 (2013-05-23).
•  Pressure Point seems to give a lower damage bonus than expected, according to the arsenal UI. It is unknown whether this is only a display bug or actually affects the damage.
