This short blade weapon forged using dark metals has limited range but comes out fast.

The Dark Dagger is a one-handed Dagger, only obtainable via Nightwave Offerings. Of the single daggers, the Dark Dagger is unique in its innate damage.

This weapon can be sold for 5,000 Credits 5,000.

Characteristics

This weapon deals damage.

Advantages:

• Innate damage – effective against health.
• High attack speed.
• Can use the dagger-exclusive  Heartseeker mod.

Disadvantages:

• Small jump attack radius.
  • This attack cannot knockdown enemies, but can proc damage than basic attacks.
• Very short range.
• Stance slot has a polarity, does not match the Conclave-only  Piercing Fury stance.

Trivia

• The Dark Dagger and its longer version the  Dark Sword were previously physical damage weapons. Update 13.0 (2014-04-09) changed them to deal purely damage on their normal attacks, making them the first melee weapons to do so.
• Prior to Update 19.0 (2016-11-11), the Dark Dagger and the  Dark Sword used exactly the same image for the Arsenal and Codex.
