Amalgam Mods are special dual-stat mods first introduced in Update 24.4 (2019-03-08) with Operation: Buried Debts. An additional non-standard bonus is provided at a slight cost of the original bonus. Similar to primed mods and Galvanized Mods, Amalgam mods cannot be equipped with their standard counterparts. Update 25.0 (2019-05-22) introduced Amalgam Weapon Augment Mods that are exclusive to particular weapons, providing a secondary stat bonus for different classes of weapons and a tertiary conditional effect.
