Secondary

  • Has a disposition of Script error: The function "Dis" does not exist. (0.5).
  • Has linear damage falloff from 100% to 6.25% from 8m to 16m target distance (distances are affected by Projectile Speed).
  • Limited range of 20 meters.
  • Energy projectile from Catchmoon can ricochet from a certain surface; specifically, a platform where Warframe cryopod is located in Helene, Saturn and Hydron, Sedna. This also occurs on Corpus doors, which share a similar behavior with the Grineer defense platform, they are mobile 3D meshes.

Tips

  • Mod TT 20px Fatal Acceleration/Mod TT 20px Lethal Momentum is recommended to increase Catchmoon's limited range.
    • Projectile Speed mods also increase the distance at which enemies recieve a forced Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. proc.
  • Although Catchmoon Kitguns do not deal increased damage on headshots, they can still trigger or receive benefits related to headshots such as Covenant130xWhite Covenant or ArcanePrecision Arcane Precision.

Bugs

  • Catchmoon Kitguns are not affected by the damage buff from Eclipse130xWhite Eclipse, but PaxSeeker Pax Seeker's projectiles are affected normally.

Primary Kitgun changes

Below are balance changes that affect Primary Kitguns only based on feedback.

Catchmoon
  • Projectile lifetime increased from 0.3secs to .42secs.
  • Fall Off increased from 12-24m to 20-40m.
Brash Grip
  • Damage reduction lowered from -38 to -24 when used with Catchmoon Chamber.
Shrewd Grip
  • Damage reduction lowered from -19 to -12 when used with Catchmoon Chamber.

Update 26.0 (2019-10-31)

Catchmoon Changes:

If you’ve made it to this part of the Update notes, you’re well aware that a lot of the Warframe meta may shift in new directions. With the current path Catchmoon weapons are on, it was time to bring Catchmoon weapons to a more reasonable power level, while still keeping them effective.

  • Decreased fall off damage from 100 to 10.
  • Decreased range of projectile from 40m to 20m and fall off range from 20-30m to 8-16m.

  • Catchmoon disposition changed from 0.6 to 0.5

Hotfix 25.7.5 (2019-09-09)

  • Fixed Catchmoon Kitguns not being able to damage the Ropalolyst Synovia.

Hotfix 25.0.3 (2019-05-24)

  • Fixed an issue that made Catchmoon projectiles deal damage twice on the hit when the projectile is destroyed. This was not a case of ‘always worked this way’ as it was accidentally introduced by the Jovian Concord.

Update 24.6 (2019-04-04)

  • Catchmoon's projectile will now only collide with world geometry when the center of it hits.

Hotfix 24.4.4 (2019-03-11)

  • Changed the following when Thunderdrum Loader is used with Catchmoon Chamber:
    • Critical Chance increased from 13% to 17%
    • Status Chance decreased from 35% to 28%
