Defensive Buffs[]

Buffs that boost defensive capabilities by reducing incoming damage, negating damage completely, or provides immunity to status effects.

Name Target Description
Armor Bonus User/Ally

User and/or ally get a bonus in Armor.
Multiplicative of the base: In other words, the following stacks additively with mods like Mod TT 20px Steel Fiber and Mod TT 20px Link Fiber, multiplying whatever the base armor value is.


Additive after multiplication:
In other words, the following gives a flat armor bonus after mods are applied.


Multiplicative of the result multiplies the above:

Damage Reduction Player

Players will take reduced Health, Shield, and Overshield damage from enemies (stacks multiplicatively with Armor if damage is dealt to health and stacks multiplicatively with other sources of damage reduction).

Damage Type Modifier Player

Players will take reduced Health, Shield, and Overshield damage from enemies (stacks multiplicatively with other sources of damage reduction, but stacks additively with sources of damage type modifiers).

Dodge User

Players will have a chance for projectiles and melee attacks to harmlessly pass through their body.

Energy as Health Player

When taking lethal damage, that damage will be dealt to Energy pool instead of Health.

Evasion Player

Enemies shooting at the player with a positive evasion stat will have their attacks suffer from heavy inaccuracy, often missing the player.

Eximus Aura Enemy

(Mind controlled enemies and syndicate specters will grant bonus to allies)

  • Arson/Caustic Eximus units project a fire resistance aura to their nearby allies, which nullifies all DmgFireSmall64 Heat damage; this aura also extends to combined elemental damage and will nullify the DmgFireSmall64 Heat damage of combined types utilizing it.
  • Arctic Eximus units project a cold resistance aura to their nearby allies, which nullifies all DmgColdSmall64 Cold damage; this aura also extends to combined elemental damage types and will nullify the DmgColdSmall64 Cold damage of said combined type.
  • Shock Eximus units project an electric resistance aura on their nearby allies which nullifies all DmgElectricitySmall64 Electricity damage. This aura also extends to combined elemental damage and will nullify the DmgElectricitySmall64 Electricity damage of said combined type.
  • Venomous Eximus units project a toxin resistance aura to their nearby allies, which nullifies all DmgToxinSmall64 Toxin damage, this aura also extends to combined elemental damage and will nullify the DmgToxinSmall64 Toxin damage of said combined type.
Invincibility Player

The player is invulnerable to any damage, or at the very least unable to die, when casting these abilities or under these effects.

Status Immunity Player

The player is cleansed of (or is unaffected by) any current status effects and is immune to future status procs. This includes physical effects such as staggers, stuns, and knockdowns.
