Brain-shelving is a punishment that is earned when a Solari is unable to fully pay off the debt of their cybernetic modifications or have been caught committing acts of defiance.

General[]

When someone is "brain-shelved," it means that a Solari's body is repossessed by the Taxmen, leaving their brain or head in containment until either someone can pay off their debt or buy them a new body. Prolonged brain-shelving can cause effects of amnesia or a complete loss of self as proven in Volan's case.

Story and History
  1. ↑ Prelude to War is a compilation of miniquests and cutscenes leading up to The New War.
  2. ↑ The completion of Duviri Paradox is required to start The Hex quest. Additionally, The Duviri Paradox has very interlinked story context to several critical characters in The New War.
