The '''Boar Prime''' is an [[Prime|ancient Orokin]] automatic shotgun that serves as an upgraded version of the [[Boar]]. The Boar Prime further improves on the strengths of the Boar, focusing on a high rate of fire, spread, and magazine capacity, on top of improving overall damage. This gives the Boar Prime extremely high damage per second, mitigated only by the short-comings of its predecessor, with its inability to effectively engage targets past short range.

Check the current Prime Resurgence rotation to see if Varzia offers relics for this item. Vaulted Void Relics already contained in player inventories are not affected and can still be either opened or traded between players.

One of the finest examples of Tenno craftsmanship, the Boar Prime offers a higher rate of fire and clip size with a slight decrease in per-shot damage.

The Boar Prime is the Prime version of the Boar Boar, featuring higher damage, critical chance, critical damage, status chance, and fire rate, but retains its ineffectiveness in mid-long engagements.
