Blueprints

The Foundry interface.

Blueprints are sets of designs that can be purchased from the Marketplace or recovered from missions. Each blueprint requires certain resources to create, costs credits, and can take hours or even days to craft.

Blueprints can be viewed and crafted via the Foundry, which can be accessed from the main menu. It also shows the components required to craft each blueprint, as well as the total numbers of components that have been collected. The blueprints look almost the same as the mods when they drop, with only difference being the color. Mods shine in blue color, but blueprints in yellow.

Weapon Blueprints

Weapon blueprints can be purchased at the Market with credits. They can be used to construct weapons that are otherwise only available to purchase with platinum. The primary difference between buying a blueprint and the regular version of a weapon is the time and resources required to acquire the in-game item. Some blueprints cannot be purchased. They have to be obtained through alert mission with a "?" in the reward bar.

Warframe Blueprints

Similar to weapon blueprints, Warframe blueprints can be purchased from the Market for credits, instead of buying them with platinum. The components must be acquired through special assassination missions from the respective target.
