Blast Shield is a precept mod for MOAs that increases the MOA's Overshield capacity, and allows the MOA to jump at a target within range, dealing
Impact damage, refilling the MOA's Shields, and releasing a shockwave that knocks down enemies.

Notes[]
- The MOA's base Overshields are 600, resulting in a total Overshields capacity of 3600 at max rank.
- Shields (including Overshields) are fully replenished on ability use.
- Synergizes with
Link Redirection and/or high-shield Warframes like
Hildryn. - Shield refill occurs even when mission modifiers (such as Nightmare or Sortie) disable them.[citation needed]
- Synergizes with
- The shockwave knocks down any enemies that make contact with it.
- The primary target is not knocked down.
- The shockwave deals twice the damage of the initial hit.
- Like the other Nychus-Model Mod (
Hard Engage), Blast Shield is NOT affected by MOA's equipped weapon.
- Unlike Hard Engage, Blast Shield is NOT affected by the equipped weapon's mods.
- The weapon itself is still useful for ranged attack when neither mod's ability is being used.
