Beacons (Prosecutor)

Beacons are resources dropped by Grineer Prosecutors. They work similarly to Nav Coordinates and were required to build the Vay Hek Frequency Triangulator, which was previously used to access the Councilor Vay Hek Assassination mission. However, as all Vay Hek Frequency Triangulator blueprints have been removed from all players, this resource currently serves no purpose.

Tips

Prosecutors can be found on Ceres in every regular Grineer Mission with the Shipyard Tile Sets. For maximum efficiency, bring:

• Nekros with Desecrate.
  • Weapons that deal mostly damage to cut the corpse into pieces for Nekros to Desecrate
• Hydroid with Pilfering Swarm.
• A damage dealer with elemental damage or high basic damage.
• Avoid using damage and melee channeling on corpses since it will disintegrate the body and prevent it from being desecrated.

Recommended places to farm beacons:

• Delta : Casta, Nuovo and Egeria (guaranteed 1-3 prosecutors every 5th wave on Casta, that usually drop Delta Beacons and 1 every 5 minutes on Nuovo and Egeria.)
• Gamma : Pallas or Kiste, rarely on Casta
• Kappa : Pallas or Kiste
• Omega : Pallas or Kiste

Notes

• All beacons can be sold for 750 credits, as they are currently unusable.
• Beacons can be traded between players.
• Update 15.13 (2015-02-05) made Vay Hek a permanent boss on Earth accessible by reaching Mastery Rank 5, making the Vay Hek Frequency Triangulator, and thus these Beacons, obsolete.
• Beacons are removed from drop tables since Update 18.10 (2016-04-29), making Tips section of this page obsolete.
