Azoth is one of the elite Corpus enemies faced by the Tenno in the arenas of Nef Anyo's Index. Azoth appears to be a heavily modified Hyena proxy, with more layers of armor and a different arsenal of attacks.

Trivia[]
- The nickname "Azoth" comes from Azoth, a term for an occult formula sought by alchemists and symbolized by the Caduceus, and later a poetic word for the element mercury.
- Fittingly, its codex entry states its designation as the Hyena Hg (Mercury).
Bugs[]
- Unlike other Arena enemies, Azoth cannot be spawned in the Simulacrum.
- Despite the Codex stating that Azoth has 200 Shields, 150 Robotic, and 200 Alloy Armor, it actually has 2500 Shields, 1000 Robotic, and 50 Alloy Armor at base.

Hotfix: The Index Preview 4 (2016-10-25)
- Reduced the damage reduction by half on the Robotic Technology Division enemies in exchange for slightly toning down their Weakspot damage multipliers in The Index.
