The Avalance Offensive is an event that was released with Update 14.2.0, where players are tasked by Cantis from the Red Veil to eliminate Arctic Eximus units.

You've helped the Red Veil in the past, now we want to return the favor. Our spies have discovered that a large batch of Corpus Arctic Eximus are massing for training around the polar region of Mars. With so many Arctic Eximus gathered in one place, you have the perfect opportunity to strike a crippling blow against the Corpus field command.
Go to Mars and take out as many of the Arctic Eximus as possible, we will offer you what we can from the spoils.

Gameplay
The Avalanche Offensive requires players to kill 100 Detron-armed Arctic Eximus units on a special Exterminate mission on Mars, which features a very high number of Arctic Eximus units and the freezing temperatures environmental hazard. Similar to the Suspicious Shipments event, enemies in this event feature increased attack damage, making them more dangerous.
Players are rewarded with a 3-Day Affinity Booster, immediately activated upon completion of the event.
