The Avalanche Offensive is a small scale event that was released with Update 14.2 (2014-08-13) that ran from August 14, 2014 to August 18, 2014, where players are tasked by Cantis from the Red Veil to eliminate Arctic Eximus units.
Gameplay
The Avalanche Offensive requires players to kill 100 Detron-armed Arctic Eximus units on a special Exterminate mission on Mars, which features a very high number of Arctic Eximus units and, most of the time, the Cryogenic Leakage environmental hazard. Similar to the Suspicious Shipments event, enemies in this event feature increased attack damage, making them more dangerous.
Players are rewarded with a 3-Day Affinity Booster, immediately activated upon completion of the event.
