Astral Bond is a Companion mod that adds damage and  Void damage to the companion for 10 seconds when dealing damage with an Amp. In return, when the companion deals  Void damage, Amp and Transference efficiency is granted for 5 seconds.

Acquisition[]

The mod can be bought from The Business for  20,000 after reaching Rank 3 - Doer with Solaris United.

Notes[]

  • Can be triggered by damage dealt with Void Sling.
  • The added  Void damage to the Companion's weapon allows  Manifold Bond to proc Void status on their Precept mods.
  • stacks with other sources of amp ammo efficiency, such as the amp arcane Eternal Logistics. Combining the two allows the amp to gain 100% ammo efficiency, granting it infinite ammo.

  • Fixed Companions standing still and not using their abilities if any of the Bond Mods are equipped.

  • Fixed Clients experiencing performance issues when using the Astral Bond Mod on their Sentinel.

Hotfix 34.0.5 (2023-10-26)

  • Changed Astral Bond to increase your Companion's attack damage and grant a smaller amount of Void Damage. The intention is to have the Mod be more well-rounded for combat instances where Void damage wouldn’t necessarily be required. In cases where it would be (Eidolon Hunts), the idea is to maintain Operator/Drifter as the primary active means of stripping away their damage resistances.
    • Was: Damage dealt by Operator or Drifter grants 120% Void Damage to your Companion’s attacks for 10s. Companion Void Damage adds +30% Amp and Energy Efficiency to Operator or Drifter for 5s.
    • Now: Damage dealt by Operator or Drifter grants 60% damage and 30% Void Damage to your Companion’s attacks for 10s. Companion Void Damage adds +30% Amp and Energy Efficiency to Operator or Drifter for 5s.

Hotfix 34.0.2 (2023-10-19)

  • Fixed case where Hounds would not attack or move if they had any of the new Bond Mods equipped.
  • Fixed getting some small one-time Affinity popups when first loading into a mission with certain Bond Mods equipped.
