Arcane Awakening is an Arcane Enhancement that provides a 60% chance on reloading any weapon to increase the damage of secondary weapons for 24 seconds.

- Arcane Awakening was first introduced in the Trial mission The Law of Retribution, which was retired in Update 22.14 (2018-03-01).
- The Operation: Scarlet Spear event sold Arcane Awakening from Little Duck for 1,500 Scarlet Credits.
- The Operation: Orphix Venom event sold Arcane Awakening from Father for 300 Phasic Cells.
Notes[]
- The increase in damage stacks additively with mods that increase base damage e.g. Hornet Strike.
- Triggers at the end of the reload.
- Weapons that cannot reload, such as Bows, Epitaph, and Battery Weapons, cannot activate the buff.
- However, it works for Mesa's Regulators/ Regulators Prime.
- Weapons that reload per shell have a chance of activating Awakening each time a shell is loaded.
- The passive reload from mods like Eject Magazine or the Synth Set will activate Awakening.
Bugs[]
- Base Regulators receive double the base damage bonus. Regulators Prime work normally however.

We’ve adjusted the values of older Arcanes with the goal of making lower rank Arcanes more viable, and more desirable while collecting as a result. In short, there are three stats that each Arcane tends to have (speaking generally) -- for example, a percentage chance, a stat buff, and the duration of the buff.
Certain Arcanes increase all of these stats per rank (making them scale exponentially), but we are changing it so that only one stat is affected by rank (making it scale linearly). The other stats will now be at the max-rank value regardless of the Arcane Rank, thereby buffing lower-rank Arcanes as a result.
