Characteristics
Fires bolts.
Advantages:
- Innate armor ignoring properties.
- High rate of fire.
- A Template:Dpol polarity slot for either Deep Freeze or Stopping Power.
- Infested runners don't explode on death.
Disadvantages:
- Slow projectile speed. (Update 7.x: Unsure of the effects of the increased projectile speed from 45 to 65)
- Difficult to make: You can make the Afuris and Aklato by buying the pistols, however you must build this by building the two Boltos first.
- Very inaccurate at long range. This should be used primarily as a short-mid range weapon.
Acquisition
The Akbolto can be purchased for Template:Platinum 225. The blueprint can be purchased for Template:Credits 15,000.
The total credit cost of crafting the Akbolto, including the blueprint and crafting costs of its two constituent Boltos, is Template:Credits113,000.

Notes
- This weapon was introduced on January 30, 2013.
- Bolts pins targets to the walls upon death.
- Description says that accuracy is lowered from the Bolto, and this is true especially at point blank range. This drop in accuracy is not reflected in the displayed 26.7 accuracy stat.
- Bolto can puncture a container and has a 100% chance to destroy the container behind it. The Akbolo does not have this capability.
