Aerodynamic is an aura mod that increases the duration of Aim Glide and Wall Latch, as well as reducing damage taken while airborne.

Stats[]

Rank Damage Reduction Aim Glide/Latch Time Cost *
0 -4% +1 -2
1 -8% +2 -3
2 -12% +3 -4
3 -16% +4 -5
4 -20% +5 -6
5 -24% +6 -7

* Aura mods increase the amount of Mod Capacity

Acquisition[]

  • 2% chance to be rewarded during every A rotation in Arbitrations.

Notes[]

  • Archwing mode does not count as airborne.
  • Titania Razorwing does benefit.
  • Unlike most other increases to Aimglide/Wall Latch duration, Aerodynamic increases the duration by a flat amount, by up to 6 seconds at Rank 5, for a total of 9 Seconds without other duration increases.

Bugs[]

  • Mod visually displays only +1 duration for aim glide and wall latch at all ranks.
    • It is still granting the intended +1-6 (based on mod rank).
    • DE has confirmed this as a known issue.

Patch History[]

Hotfix 35.0.4 (2023-12-20)

  • Fixed Aerodynamic’s Wall Latch duration stat not properly scaling with Mod Rank in the Arsenal or Mod Menu.
    • This was a UI only bug and had no impact in-mission.

Update 30.5 (2021-07-06)

Damage Resistance Mod Math Changes:

The following changes occurred due to the following scenario being shared:

A player reported that combining Umbral Mods + Adaptation + Lightning Rod on any Warframe made them fully immune to all damage from the Hydrolyst Eidolon.

Prior to this discovery, we already made sure we couldn’t reach 100% Damage Resistance because that would just be excessive in all cases. You can see this in action when we capped the ‘In Air’ Damage Resistance Mods. Even though the Mods theoretically could reach 100% Damage Resistance, there is a hard cap at 90%.

In response and to avoid future oversights, we have changed the way Damage Resistance works. It now works on ‘Damage Remaining’ instead of having all the Modifiers combined and operating at once.

Example:
Consider the case of:
4x 25% Damage Resistance Mods

WAS: (25% + 25% + 25% + 25%) = 100% Damage Reduction

NEW: Take 25% Less Damage = Only take 75% Damage

0.75 x 0.75 x 0.75 x 0.75 = 31.5% damage taken AKA 68.5% damage reduction

  • (Undocumented) removed 90% cap.

Hotfix 25.7.8 (2019-09-26)

  • Airborne resistance from Mods is now capped at 90% to prevent stacking past 100% in some cases.

Hotfix 25.7.6 (2019-09-18)

  • Introduced
