文化と技術の最前にいた民も感染体の拡大にはかなわなかった。謎に包まれたVoidからの異変でオロキン船は感染され続け、かつて威厳のあった船は無人のまま宇宙をさまよい続ける。

ダイモスは火星の月で感染体が支配しており、オロキン遺跡船と呼ばれるオロキンタワーのタイルセットが使用されている。 遺跡船は時の流れに放置され、長期にわたって感染体にさらされ、変質したオロキンの古代の船である。

ダイモスへは火星のKadeshをクリアするとアクセス可能になる、ジャンクションはない。

ダイモスの抹殺対象はMagnacidiumノードにいるLephantis とExequiasノードにいるジーロイド・プリレイトである。Lephantisは NekrosWarframeの部品設計図を抹殺報酬として提供し、ジーロイド・プリレイトは Pathocystの設計図および部品をドロップする。

ダイモスにはカンビオン荒地と呼ばれるオープンワールドが存在する。カンビオン荒地は感染体のグレー株菌によって著しく変異している。北東部にはかつてエントラティ一家が住んでいた大きな建物があり、現在はネクロリスクと呼ばれている。

都市のハブとして、プレイヤーはネクロリスク内のエントラティ家の様々なメンバーと交流してアイテムを購入したり、カンビオン荒地内で完成させるクエストや依頼を受けることができる。プレイヤーは、構造物の入り口にある大きなオロキンのドアからロード待機の部屋へ入ることができ、ロードが完了すると反対側の大きな扉から荒地へ出ることができる。

コラプトModは２つの効果を持ち、片方はプラスの効果でもう片方はマイナスの効果を持つ。分隊のメンバーが貯蔵庫の解錠に成功すると分隊員全員がコラプトModを１つ入手することができる。各Modは同じ確率でドロップする。(4.3478%).

• Deimos, which in Ancient Greek means Dread, is named after the Greek God of Terror who is also the twin brother of Phobos.
• Mission Nodes on Deimos are usually named after fear, death, and suffering.
  • Phlegyas in Greek mythology is the son of Ares and Chryse and therefore a sibling of Deimos. Its etymological root is in the greek verb flego which means to shine, to burn, to blaze.
  • Formido is the Roman equivalent to Deimos.
  • Hyf in Old English roughly translates to (bee)hive and in Swedish it refers to the long, threadlike filaments that form the mycelium of a fungus.
  • Dirus is a Latin word that means "fearful" or "ominous".
  • Horend is a form of the word Horrendous.
  • Terrorem means terror.
  • Exequias is a Spanish (coming from latin exequiae-arum) word that translates to Funeral (rights).
  • Magnacidium is a word that has only appeared on screenshots of the Tennocon 2020 stream and the Warframe forums thereafter.
    • However, the word may be a portmanteau of the Latin words Magna (from the word Magnus, meaning "Large" and "Great") and the suffix -cidium (meaning "slaughter" and "act of killing").
