Elite Lancers are the Elite counterpart of the Grineer Lancers, and are found replacing the latter in mission levels 21 and up. Unlike the typical Lancers, they wield Hinds with a much higher damage than the regular Grakatas. Their armor resembles closely that of the typical Lancer, but is bulkier and has a slightly different helmet design, similar to a hoodie.
Elite Lancers are also protected by personal shields, similar to Grineer Heavy Infantry. Unlike Heavies however, their shields can regenerate even after complete depletion.
These Lancers can also be found in the Grineer Settlement, with brown desert camo and a different helmet design.

- Elite Lancers were first introduced in Update 9.
- Elite Lancers originally wielded Burstons. This was changed to the Hind in Update 9.6 as the Burston was a Tenno weapon.
