On a late night many months ago, when whimsy and hours were in great supply, I ended up making a color-coded chart of Warframe armor values so that people could visually measure the effects of Corrosive shots. It's there on the Corrosive Damage page, and I soon after decided that it also makes sense to include the chart of Warframe armor values onto the Armor page itself.
I sectioned off the table and transcluded it to the Armor page. There it went, and there it sat.
As the moons went through their phases, so did the games receive their updates. Frost, my, you're looking tougher. Rhino Prime? Is that you all beefed up now? Ember, so firm! Was it P90X? You must tell me soon, I'd love to know.
The table needed to be updated, and that carried with it the awkward business of recalculating and then recoloring the damage reduction and background. Since armor values can continue to change in the days to come (and, getting ahead of myself, we could get more armor-increasing mods or powers), I decided to try to implement a dynamically-colored auto-calculating table system for this chart.
It can and should be viewed here, under the "WIP Tables" section. It should be viewed, because I need popular opinion to proceed. The current implementation doesn't follow the original's design, where all entries of the equal value shared a row. I deliberately did not do so this time because I felt the colors on the chart should accurately reflect the proportion of high-armor, mid-armor, and low-armor Warframes.
However, doing so makes the charts long. And including entries for Steel Fiber doubles its length, with Armored Agility triples its length, and both quadruples it. I put these charts into a tabber so that you can view all these options. Ultimately, I want to pick a chart that is relevant to most players whom would view the Armor page. I could put on the quadruple-length table, but that could just be information overload for people who could better benefit from either a chart of original frame values or a chart of solely the Warframe values with both Steel Fiber and Armored Agility equipped.
I could theoretically just shove the tabbered chart nearly as-is onto the page, but is more information actually better if it's not digestible? And it's always possible to un-restructure the chart so it's easily templated like so, but all frames of the same value go into the same row on a chart. If that's really the best compromise between space and information, I could go that way.
TL;DR: Go to this page, tell me which chart goes best on the Armor page.
