I've not had it as bad before 1999 update. This time, the markers are just floating out there right at the spy vaults' entrance. Pre-1999 update, the waypoint at least locks onto some doorway along the way as I approach closer to the spy vault.

I run wukong for spy missions so I can just zig zag around. Plus I've gotten pretty good at predicting where they should be.

This is already reported in the Warframe forum for bug reports. It doesn't seem like every player has this issue. Lucky us huh?

Roar is always an easy option, easy to obtain. Nova can be built on both strength and duration now, since there's no longer any benefit to building on negative strength for "Speedva" classic builds.

If you're not an Eidolon hunter, 757 is the way to go.

Build a 1x7 or 3x7 only if you need to fight the Ropalolyst, because you need the range.

If your amp is still feeling meh, you have focus schools, operator arcanes and amp arcanes to invest. That's another topic for another day.

If you can't be arser to aim, go with 757 build. Don't build a 777 because the secondary for will give less seasoned players buyers remorse.

If the main purpose of building the amp is to defeat Void Angels, consider investing in Madurai focus school for Void Strike ability.

If you can invest in Magus Melt arcane to add fire damage to your amp when fighting the Void Angel.

The way I see it, the origin system needs a cataclysmic event to unite the Ostrons, Grineer, Corpus, and maybe even the Sentient and the Mutant Entrati family. Seems like 1999 might just be the stepping stone leading up to that.
